low CPU and GPU usage
hey
Back at launch I could play this game 144 fps maxed out no problem but now I came back to play it on steam and I don't get the fps that I used to get. I have a gtx 1070 and an i7-4790, and I have noticed that my GPU is only getting around 50 percent usage and my CPU isn't bottlenecking because it's only using 60 percent of my CPU. please does somebody have a fix for this?

Check your frame rate setting in game. When I reinstalled on steam mine was set to 30. I had to set it back to 140. If you’re monitor is a GSYNC monitor I highly recommend capping FPS at 140 in game, turning off VSYNC in game and turn on VSYNC via NVCP. That will make it so GSYNC always stays on. Sadly NVIDIA doesn’t advertise those settings and you have to look around to find that info. You will notice the game is smoother. Aside from that I hope you fix your problem. That would drive me crazy.

1 ReplyI'm having the exact same problem. I have a ryzen 3600 and a 5700 xt. My cpu usage stays at 25%, and my gpu usage around 30. I have no idea why the game is not utilizing these 2 components correctly.
