Question about Veteran dialogue
I had D1 on release but stopped after the house of wolves. I’m thinking about playing through all of D1 expansions, that being said if I make a new character in D2 will it register that I’ve completed D1 and the expansions late or will act as if I haven’t played past house of wolves? Example: I encounter the taken, will it mention me fighting them before or say that I don’t know who they are.

2 RepliesNo new characters created in D2 have any veteran dialog as they did not play D1. To get the veteran dialog you needed to have completed the base D1 storyline before August 2017 and then transferred them into D2 in a one time only option the first time you play D2. These characters will be at the time before D2 was released so any progress in D1 after that will not transfer.
