As you might have seen there is a lot of people that has mistakenly linked the wrong bnet account to their steam account and therefore lost all their progress that they have made and has to start over again unless they create another steam account and re-migrate to that account. Yes I'm aware that it's a solution but it feels like a temporary solution. We deserve a second chance to make things right! We're loyal followers to Bungie and destiny because we love you and the game! We love that you guys are your own again and free from activition to develop the game as you want with community feedback that you listen too, but we're not asking for much but a second chance to then be able to play your game, raid, spend money on eververse to get our sick emotes and laugh with our friends again.   • I made the same mistake and now I cant play with my Og character, bungie should help out in that situation cause i dont care what happens with the wrongly transfered character.. I just want to play on the one i spent hours on.

  • Я изначально привязал STEAM аккаунт к профилю BUNGIE, но как оказалось не до конца сделал перенос, потратил 3часа чтобы сделать перенос но кнопка уже не активна. После чего отвязал свой Battle.net по ошибке и вообще все пропало. Это очень прискорбно.

      • No. Because it opens it up to the people who didnt make a mistake, and lets the exploit the reason for the cooldown. Rules exsist to protect the integrity of the game and its players

          • Man I made this same mistake and put a different steam account that I didn't want to (I transferred from ps4). I really hope Bungie comes with a fix of some sort.

          • Add another person to the list, I'm seriously bummed out. I accidentally chose my Xbox Destiny 2 Characters as my primary on Cross-Save instead of PlayStation 4, which was my intended account. I sent an email in, and of course I don't qualify for assistance. I figured that one was coming. But 90 days? That's ridiculous. If it had been a week, or even 1 month at absolute most, I'm sure the backlash wouldn't be so great. But seriously? 90 whole days? And then add to the fact that I purchased Shadowkeep and have to wait 90 days to even play it on the RIGHT account..? I hope they lower the days necessary to re-enable Cross-Save. Even if for security measure, the down-time required for such a simple and lackluster mistake is absurd.

            It was Bungie's own bad game design decisions that made such a vitally important transition to a new platform so easy to screw up irrevocably, especially since every player got a pop-up basically nagging us to go do it. Any game UX decision that is that easy for customers to screw up something as important as your playerfiles, should never have been implemented in the way that it was, and Bungie owe their customers a duty of care to rectify it. /suspected this would be an issue and studiously avoided cross-save and account transfer from Battle.net to Steam for this very reason //it is BungLe, after all :P

            • I doubt they will do anything for us. Bungie seems to have abandoned community outreach. Sad, considering how they used to be. This and the non working migrations are a huge issue completely ignored and unsupported right now.

            • I'm pretty sure take no one from Bungie team don't give a **** about moaning -blam!- that have playing this game and didn't realize that have selected the wrong platform to be primary cross save platform. Long story short: didn't realize that someone will make the process of cross save in that manner.... @Bungie developers: 1) Does not make sense not to check, not to warn, not make even harder option to activate a primary platform in which DOESN'T have any characters!!! This is one "if / else" boolean check ... shame .... Remember your clients are: stupid / tired / old / distracted / not native speakers and the most important - they are humans!!! 2) Let's assume that this kind of action deactivating / reactivating cross save will be potentially harmful for ecosystem... But I don't get it how activating empty account that override account with characters will make something like a cheat?... 3) cross save is expensive for Bungie - ok, charge stupid b**** like me for my stupidity... But to ban me for 90 days .... really?! 4) what kind of system is this - with no forgiving mechanism?! Give to your players time - 24 hours to understand the consciences of thier choice ... And after that - punish them if you want ... 5) The saddest thing is that... for grown persons like me, this game is something like escape from the broken world that we are living... It's a place that you met with others like you and we are sharing our free time... And we are a great community ... and you are punishing us.... for 90 days for small mistake like this ?! ... really?! And for the final.... I have bought Bungie t-shirt on 27th of July .... Because I'm a big fan... And before 3 days I got a response from Your colleague that the t-shirt is traveling back to US and after don't know how time it will take ... But they will send me the t-shirt again. Today is 5th of October... If you really care for your players... for your community - make something... And I insist to receive at least one answer from Bungie team...

            • Ngl, I messed up. I signed into the wrong account and accidentally transferred nothing over. Please let my human mistake not be punished by this! This is basically death. The amount of exotics I grinded for is too much for me to not have them. I also had Forsaken and now I can't even have that. r.i.p in the chat fellow guardians.

              I originally played on ps4, stopped playing right after forsaken came out. Saw that D2 was coming to steam so i preordered shadowkeep with the intentions of transferring over my ps4 char. So when I finally installed and started playing, I figured it was going to give me that option in game. Well I didn't realize I was supposed to do all that BEFORE even touching the damn game and now apparently I have to buy ANOTHER season pass which is serious bull. NO I had not seen anything from Bungie about what I was supposed to before the game released. I have a full time job, a wife and 4 kids. I get probably an hour and half to play at night so NO I DONT KEEP UP WITH YOUR BUNGIE NEWS AND I DONT READ FORUMS ALL DAY TO KNOW THIS STUFF. If I buy something on the [b]PC[/b] I EXPECT to play that content on the [b]PC[/b]

                I did the same exact thing , I got the support I needed to fix my problem which i am gratful for but at what cost, at 90 day wait period I suppose , and I don't think its right to make all these people wait because of an human error. You could argue , " well you should've known better" and if that's the case I don't want to be apart of this game anymore if the Devs are that unforgiven and we know they are not. I think if we get enough traffic on this post we will get another chance I just hope its soon , because other wise I wont be able play it with my friends. I think in order do this those people need to file another trouble ticket and then bungie will decide on that account alone not a general population. Although I don't think doing a 1 time redo for everybody wouldn't be bad , I don't think it would make the game anymore vulnerable to cheating or hacking , because if its just once it wont happen again . I just hope they highlight how to do it better because I think back and I was certain I made my Xbox Guardians the primary account to be linked but I could be wrong I just hope this will give them a thought to help us out.

                • I totally understand it with people having multiple Bnet accounts and mis-linking, but for myself anyway, i have only the 1 (one) bnet account that has an active and somewhat actively used destiny 2 account, and my only one steam account. So not sure how i would have the same issue. Unless any and all information was being sent to the old email i used for my bnet account.. if thats the issue could i possibly get any and all information regarding my transfer sent to my newer and more active email address?

                • Yes, i don't have this problem but my friend does and i agree too. Open the PC migration again for only 24h so people can correct the mistakes they have made. Second chance too correct the mistake, then everyone would be happy.

                • I made the same mistake. I migrated my other battlenet account to my main steam account. I tried to switch it by connecting my main battlenet account to my PC move, and it doesn't work. I don't want o have to start again. Please let us have the option of wiping our character or account on our steam accounts so we can migrate our actual destiny 2 license into the 'fresh' steam account.

                • I have done the same thing and made a forum about it to, they have not responded all they said was you will have to do it again go to bungie.net/pctransfer . And because it is linked and copied it can not be copied again :( If they could copy over the data from one account to the other then wipe the first account that would be handy. But they aren't taking any action on this by the looks of things. Even if it is once off fix, it will be most helpful.

                • Even if i don't have this problem, i agree they should find a way to resolve this issue, cause obviously there are a change more people have made this same mistake by linking wrong account. People wont be happy with the answer "what is done is done" kind of nonsense, not when they spend hours and money into the game, and even pre-orders the new expansion just to play. It just show a bad customer service in my opinion for devoted players who made an honest mistake, i know Bungie having a lot of things to fix for the moment, but they should of consider this as well as possible chance of happening during migration from Bnet to steam.

                  • For many of us, our only mistake was trying to do the transfer when their website was an overloaded broken mess. Not our fault when there's bugs in Bungie's system, and they owe us a fix when we're losing things we paid for.

                  • Bungie also needs to fix the season pass issues caused by cross save not working initially, like you said, we shouldn't be punished for bugs in their system. I want the things I paid for.

                  • What mistakes are you talking about? I have exactly ONE bnet and ONE steam account, and neither my forsaken license, my annual pass nor my guardians have migrated. I started the migration when it became available and NOTHING has happened...

                      I make a mistake to linking the battlenet account to a wrong steam account... please make this happened... I just want to play the game... I hope they comes with another solution to this... I don't want to make another guardian after spending so much time on battlenet (basegame and forsaken)
