I feel what you're saying. I was in the same boat and I tried getting people from LFG, etc. But that is actually no better than solo because LFG teams don't co-ordinate that well and sometimes even won't use mic much. The advice that worked for me was simply to run away from a losing fight like when you are very low health and know that you can't win that particular engagment just back off from there towards your teammates. Also most 4 stacks will either be team shooting or flanking you. So use the same strategy of sticking together with your team even though all are solos. Don't feel bad about using meta weapons or loadouts if that works for you. If the meta is not working for you, just use guns which you're most comfortable with. If you have problems aiming properly then just use something like Jötunn or Telesto which don't require much aiming. Also for your original question about bounties, I'm pretty sure that if they were there they'll make them difficult ones like get a 10 kill streak or get some gold medal, etc in Comp.
