Change Well of Radiance to be like bubble titans
Is it possible for Bungie to make Well of Radiance an alternative to dawnblade when you activate it. What I mean is when you activate Sentinel Shield, if you hold it you place a Ward of Dawn. This offers the bubble titans more utility with their build than the warlock. Am I making sense or am I talking nonsense?

Make our team perk "Song of Flame" so that friends standing near us gain increased ability Regen and +10 Recovery. Viking Funeral grenades while in Radiance can be our damage/debuff. You could choose to buff your friends, weaken the boss and sacrifice DPS on your behalf or just pop Radiance, get that nice health buff and shoot your heart out. This will also stop the whole "just stand here and never die" gimmick. Having +10 Recovery is nice but it won't make you borderline Immortal.

Thing is, Sentinels have exotics and perks that will support the super on the top tree when using Sentinel Shield instead of Ward of Dawn. Attunement of Grace does nothing for Daybreak, and the super will not benefit from any of the perks on the tree. You can't Icarus Dash nor have Everlasting Flame. Your Daybreak is as useful as when you first obtained it in the campaign.

And that's not even talking how much better dawnblade is compared to sentinel shield.

2 RepliesWhen I saw this, I thought of something. Not gonna say whether I think it’s good, I’ll leave you with your opinions on it. Instead of bringing the middle tree to waste, bring back the Radiance Super from D1, with Well as an alternate super (like the Magical Titan Bubble). With all the abilities, Radiance could be like an ability-focused support class (but people don’t like those, I’m probably the only one who does). Just a suggestion. I’m likely gonna get bashed on for it.

Honestly, how well is now and is going to be is fine. Bubble is special, when you pop the sentinel on that tree you are basically wasting your super now.

As someone who loves to play support I would prefer the opposite. When I'm a bubble titan I don't want to be captain America. I'd much rather activating the super always made the bubble for top tree titan. But bungie can't seem to get support classes right so there's a 50/50 chance you'll get your wish.

2 RepliesNot a bad idea, but you also need to keep in mind that the entire skill tree is centered around support and recharging of your abilities based on that support. It doesn't make sense to give that option. If you want to use Dawnblade as an offensive super, bottom tree is the way to go. Like I said, it's a good idea, but there is merit to having different skill trees have different abilities.
