The Tower is gone... Shattered... Its parts now lay strewn around a void like world...
In the distance you see ropes of smoke? No not smoke... something swirling, dancing in this empty space, the platform that you awaken on is a patch of shattered earth... the world is gone, what is this horrible place? Your thoughts seem to echo in the endless space as you feel a familiar creeping...
You look down to see the slithering forms of the deep root snaking out of the ground; angrily, voraciously you feel the drain of the Deep and the screaming in your mind... the words...
[u][i][b]I HUNGER[/b][/i][/u]
The words of the one who sought to destroy your home once, now his will in this world is manifest... reality has been torn asunder, and you look around to realize this is the world the Deep intends for you,
The slithering Deep root pulls you tighter as you struggle... And the Voice of the one who speaks for this monstrosity echoes back into your mind...
[i]Come... lie in this land... embrace this child... this hungry land; starve and be food for it's will... embrace the Deep...[/i]
The Voice is coming from somewhere far ahead, you see the shattered remains of the tower floating in space before you, and the swirling black fog that is encircling and snaking its way between the remains of this broken world.
[u][i][b]I HUNGER[/b][/i][/u]
You feel the soporific power of the deep, sapping your will... is this how you meet your end?
