I just cancelled my pre-order for ShadowKeep. The way this game and Bungie’s direction is going, we are going to get more in game purchases with less story. I bought this game FOR its story, and it’s lack luster and just stops when it starts to seem good. And don’t give me the whole “grimoire” argument, if I wanted to read the story i’d buy a book. First Destiny story? HA, what story? Only time something started happening was Taken King and somewhat of Iron Lord dlc whatever it was called. Destiny 2? Compared to 1, it was way better, but is still terrible by standard games. Every DLC so far has been a flop in content and lore. Forsaken may have made a splash in stagnated water, but once more shortly after it went back to the mundane activity. And the final nail that has been one of the first ones hammered in has been EVERVERSE. No one asked for that NO ONE. It’s been a plaque of this games existence for 4+ years now, and should now be a mall in the Tower. It’s everywhere in every season in every event that only has been the onebto get constant updates. That’s disgusting and a major turn off. I’ll continue to play for a little longer, but no more DLC’s from me and no more time invested for much longer.
