Really hope the restriction of one armor piece a week is removed come Shadowkeep for EP. I don't want to wait 7 weeks to get that gear again.
Jesus -blam!- do you live under a rock? EP armor won't exist anymore, it's becoming ornaments for any actual 2.0 armor, this is old news
We’ve made a bunch of armor in Destiny, and we didn’t want to leave behind any of the armor that players can currently pursue. So, we’ve also updated every new drop in the game to integrate and leverage the new system. This means if you want to go back and get the small Titan shoulder pads from Sloane on Titan, you can go chase a roll of them that uses the new system.
Quote from Part 2 of the State of the Game posts. Also your link seems strangely inoperable.

If they've made it so even EP is updated my guess is it'll simply award ornaments on a chest open to them be slotted into any armor rather than anything else Edit: fixed link didn't think the url link option would have a example.com link example in the code where you'd put a title instead of it just being [u r l]

Might be something to do with using the app. As for the ornaments.... that’s the Eververse armour. The only exceptions to that are the Solstice blue and green sets, because they actually didn’t forget to add those onto the respective legendary set.

Did you notice every single one of those is an Eververse piece of armour?
Did you notice every single one of those is an Eververse piece of armour?
Store armor and event armor like i said, that image doesn't show all of the armor, since what they use is all test builds and stuff, but when SK goes live there will be armor ornaments, only armor not getting turned into ornaments is raid stuff, strike stuff, one of a kind pve armor, Dreaming City armor and other planetary vendor armor etc those will be earnable as 2.0
-
Only Eververse armour is being converted into universal ornaments. Anything earnable in game right now will have an armour 2.0 version that you can earn the exact same way you could the old set.
