So here's my issue, in the trailer for this quest, it essentially shows us that we will get the emblem, Borealis, Borealis ornament, ship, and sparrow once we complete a quest. This does not happen though. You get all but the sparrow, arguably the coolest reward within the quest reward loot. Conveniently it was left out of both the trailer and the instructions for Refer-a-Friend that you must refer 3 separate players and get to step 3 in order to obtain the sparrow. I went out of my way to get someone to buy Forsaken and link up to get this stuff, [i]all[/i] this stuff. Don't get me wrong, having another friend to play with is nice, but only having a random forum post saying the requirements after someone asks? Not cool. I did the Refer-a-Friend quest in Destiny 1 as well. I got [i]everything[/i] that was advertised when I completed that single quest. My friend and I did the quest expecting to get the sparrow, as did a lot of other people. Now that the quest is going away, is there not a way to give the sparrow to the people who got someone to pay 60 bucks and play Destiny 2? I'd say we all earned it. It's not really different then all the PS specific loot from preorders becoming available after a given amount of time. As my last point, the quest is even named Refer-[i]a[/i]-Friend. Not Refer-Some-Friends. So the insinuation is that you get what's advertised at the end of [i]a[/i] referral. It just seems like we wasted our time, time we could've spent grinding Solstice gear, to get all this loot. Then, finding out we can't get everything shown by some forum post answer.
