There are a lot of people complaining about how “hard” the grind is in D2, but there are games that are a lot worse. Take Guild Wars 2 Legendary weapons. These are the coolest looking weapons in the game and have special effects (the one in the video, Exordium, changes its shape depending on what attack you use). The grind for these can take upward of 4-5 months to complete, and that’s playing faithfully every day. One of the first things you have to do is complete the map, which takes forever. You also have to have maxed two crafting professions, which either takes a lot of time or a lot of money. And then there’s the hundreds of random little items you have to find. The good news is if you want to you can always drop $200 and buy one off the trading post ;)

I never understood people who can just grind hours on end. The hardest grind I’ve attempted was the Flame Feather in Terraria. Hardest grind I’ve accomplished would probably be the Horseman’s Blade (& other Pumpking loot) from Terraria.

Edited by EnthusiasticRobot: 7/23/2019 11:49:15 PMGetting the Ankh Shield in Terraria was the hardest grind I ever went through. At least 10x more tedious than anything in Destiny. Edit: The Terra Blade is a close second.

Getting to SR152 in H5. That crap is ridiculous.

Doing the Kulve Taroth raid in MHW solo. Don’t do it. Farm Behemoth instead. But for real, getting the Behemoth armor sucked because I don’t exactly have a dedicated party for it, I would usually just join SOS’s. Decorations in MHW are stupid grinding. Still trying to get the mighty bow jewel.

Getting a maxed out character in RuneScape would take a eternity. I’ve only been playing for 6ish months and I barely have levels 30 in everything.

Depending on the grind, D2 can take just as long. For instance, Chronicler

FFX chocobo race to get the celestial weapon for titus. You got to grab as much balloons as you can and hit little to no birds AND beat the other guy. Oh and your chocobo out of the blue veers left or right all by itself. So if you run right to dodge a bird it could just veer left right into it. Let's say it had me raging lol

I avoid most grinds. One of the only ones I did was in Skyrim. I decided to grind two handed so I could get the decapitation perk. Unfortunately the next session I realized that I perfer one handed + shield.
