Stuck loading between strike areas
In like 50% of strikes (it has happened on mercury, the dreaming city, and warden of nothing), my character gets stuck between areas in a strike with the loading icon at the bottom of the screen. When I return to orbit, the game just sits loading indefinitely.

This is happening to me constantly when I just move fast or just walk in areas with a portal or I end up waiting forever while in orbit. Will Bungie be working on this soon??

1 ReplyI have the same problem as Mentalfreak. Never had this problem before. It has happend many times lately. I get disconnected (in the middle of a strike)and must connect again to Destiny Servers. Please fix this, Bungie.

For the time being, one of the current possible workarounds may help you in such an instance in the future until a fix can be found and implemented (take note that after doing one, you may need to give the game a few moments to properly sync up): -Open your Director and go to your Pursuits tab. If a completed pursuit suddenly pops up saying it's completed, close your director and see if things load properly in a few moments. -Open your Director and go to your Pursuits tab and complete a bounty if you have one done -Try changing your currently equipped weapon(s) and/or armor. -Dismantle a piece of equipment (preferably a rare blue you got from your current playthrough; don't get rid of anything you want to keep because you won't get it back). -If you use an app for item transfers, use the app to transfer a random piece of equipment onto your character Hopefully one of the possible workarounds gets you by the loading and syncing issue.

Helped someone do the Corruption or whatever it is for the hand cannon today. He died before I went into the blackhole thing at the end. I froze and he ended up in front of me at the boss area while I got a message to TURN BACK and I died. I am running an SSD and have never had any issues like jumping across the space in the Dreaming City to go to the Oracle. But, the last few days has been really bad for some reason.

Did a nightfall last night with extinguish. Came out if the forest to the area where you jump the bridge in the mercury strike, we all got black loading screens, waited 10 mins, then it booted me to orbit saying we'd failed. My mate waited another 10 then had to reboot his PS4. We tried again, this time the first boss room, same again. So we just turned destiny off

Bounties for me every time. After going to pursuits tab no issues, well until I complete another bounty.

Same here stuck at loading screen while the strike continues which makes getting a strike COMPLETION more than difficult. No error message is given and my 2nd xbox works fine so it's not the internet on my end.

1 Reply9/10 it's a bounty that's been completed and is causing loading problems somehow, check pursuits tab when it happens, should hopefully load again fine.

Same issue. Boots once the connection times out to Destiny 2 Forsaken start screen.

Same, had to completely close the game to play. I’m sure bungie will correct it
