50 precision kills in strikes without dying.
"DYING"
Just ran strikes, was sitting at about 45/50 kills. Loaded into lake of shadows but some dude was way ahead of the two that just spawned in. I guess he died in the next segment of the strike and it team wiped us. Lost all my progress for getting joined with someone mid strike.
I'm not against this bounty or the requirements in any way. Usually it's fairly easy to do but when you just get it taken away, without dying, it's a bit frustrating. Even more so when it's the one bounty I plan to do today since the other two I haven't done are Gambit related.
If you're gonna have these kinds of bounties, you need to better define what constitutes a "death".

Had this happen as well. Since then I switched to running a solo nightfall with modifiers for the burn I wanted and nothing else. Load up Izanagis Burden, and/or energy sniper to match your burn and blammo! Done in no time. Most nightfalls have cannon fodder at the start. Load in kill the easy ones. Exit to orbit, rinse and repeat. Your vanguard bounties apply as well. Super kills in a strike, Bow, Sidearm, Grenade Launcher, etc..kills in a strike? All done solo in the nightfall. No kill stealing, no resets due to stupid dieing, all just a lot easier.

Happened to my wife and me last week. Decided to just do it in the Nightfall for now on with all modifiers turned off. I with you could turn off matchmaking.

So there I was, Carefully picking away at enemies in the hollowed lair strike. We are on the way to meet the Big boy at the back - the Baron of Barons himself! Oh what a lovely day! WHAT A LOVELY DAY - 46 out of 50 Kills and its the part where the fans were - jumping doing my thing - Team mate shoulder charges to make the jump pushing me off the ledge. a part of me died that day, that and 46 Baby Kittens swimming in a box of Unicorn tears.

I keep running into people staying in the public area to farm the kills instead of proceeding with the strike. It’s almost as if the folks at Bungie have no idea how to properly implement tasks. 🤔

Yeah I have never done it in an actual strike with people, nightfall somewhere that spawns you in a public space and even kills in lost sectors while in that nightfall count. This week I've been running Tree of Probabilities for it.

6 RepliesIf you're on ps4, set your clock back. Spawn in solo to lake of shadows and just farm ads around the church. If you're on Xbox then sell it, buy a ps4 and you've scored twice 👌

1 ReplyI had that happen to me in strike where you're going after the Cabal in the Infinite Forrest. One guy quit out....and when the game replaced him...the blueberry that spawned in died and wiped the whole team. Its is a long standing issue with strikes, and Bungie either can't----or won't---fix it. One of many reasons why playing with speedrunners is aggravating. Because if they aren' running ahead and dying.....they're running ahead and despawning everything in front of people who actually want to shoot things and (gasp) play the game.

12 RepliesEveryone suggesting to just run a Nightfall is missing the point... The OP has discovered something that can screw players over and it shouldn't be all that hard for Bungie to fix it. A "death" should be your character's health reaching 0 and nothing more. "Team Wipes" via someone (or multiple people) dying in a Darkness Zone should not affect you unless you yourself also died.

1 ReplyBest way to do it is load up a nightfall that has a lost sector at the beginning and get kills there. You can also get done progress towards the vanguard tributes as well if you were Leviathan/Menagerie gear.

2 RepliesI have found that doing the normal strike version of The Hollowed Lair is the best way to get this done. Just take your time and be careful. It may take 2 runs to get it completed

I mean, it is technically a wipe. I feel like the big skull on the splash screen is a giveaway. But that is some really garbage luck.

2 RepliesPfft... You think that's bad? Yesterday I was 49/50 kills. Then some Ogre I was fighting Stomped an ally but it's okay, I way out of range and nowhere close to him so it's cool. 5 seconds later I go flying into a wall at lightspeed and die. #JustDestinyThings Though, I must admit, this particular Bounty seems a bit off. Like, all the other Bounties are fairly low amounts of things to do, because of the "Without Dying" modifier. Yet, Precision Kills in Strikes is like 3x the amount required than the normal Vanguard bounty for the same thing (Which is 15 Precision Kills in Strikes)
