Why doesn’t Kill Clip reset after reloading again?

We’re almost in Destiny 2 Year 3 and Kill Clip still doesn’t re proc or reset the timer if you reload after a kill while Kill Clip is still active. I don’t recall whether D1 Reactive Reload had this same thing. Reloading after getting a kill should always grant a 50% damage buff for 5 seconds, regardless of whether it’s already active or not. Doing so while it’s active should reset it back to five seconds.

Multikill Clip does. I like it far more than Kill Clip because of this. I just wish they would change the "Rampage" mod that extends the duration to something more "Universal" so it affects all temporary damage-boosting perks. Rampage, Kill Clip, Multikill Clip, Swashbuckler, Trench Barrel, etc. Maybe not Master of Arms since it's more or less a "Universal" perk as it is for Recluse. People will always complain about the Crucible and "muh balance" when the crucible is the least balanced part of the game as it is and probably the least fun. Yeah you can sink time into it... but what did you get out of it? Some blues... maybe a legendary with terrible perks... some stats that nobody cares about?
