sharing cores with infusion and masterworking is not working (for me at least). would like to see the two things separated.
last night it cost me 18 cores to masterwork a gun, now it will cost me more to lvl it up unless i get godly rng to get a powerfull drop of the same gun.

Cost me 35 cores to pull a Y1 armour set, infuse to max and masterwork it the other night. Don't know what to do with my other 150 cores and 90 matterweaves tbough.

I would never master work a weapon until I was 750 unless I wanted to use it in PVP. What would be the point?
-
9 cores per day from gunsmith bounties you can complete from basically playing the game. Cores are super easy to get now. Just think whether you NEED to infuse something or you just want to.

Masterwork is fine, infusion needs to change.. but good on you for trying a different angle!

Edited by Varvo: 6/28/2019 2:19:03 AMBruh, this argument has no valid point on your end. If your favorite MW weapon is say 720. You get a new gun at 730. You can keep that 730 weapon on your guardian and your new gear that drops WILL drop higher. Once you get a 750 weapon to drop, put it into your favorite MW weapon. You spend the fewest amount of cores to achieve this. Another way around is say your Duke mk. 44 is your MW weapon at LL 720. A duke drops at 730... it only costs glimmer to infuse the 730 into your 720. Exotics also cost 0 or 1 MW core. Hope I save you some cores.

It should be XP based. Masterwork level increases the more you use it. I think that’s how it was originally introduced. It should be this way. It gives you more freedom to play the way you want.
-
All they have to do is take cores out of infusion
-
I would much prefer a kill based system for masterworking weapons.
-
Weapon masterworking should be material based, as well as having an option for kill based upgrading...500/1000/1500/2000...so you can kill your way to MW, or speed up the process and drop some cores.

It’s perfect the way it is in my opinion

What LL are you at? What LL is the gun? What is the weapon and perks? Better question, if you feel for yourself that cores are an issue, why would you use cores to MW at the point you are at, IF You Know, it will only cause problems for you going forward?
