Whats the lore behind the solstice armor?

I could be wrong but I think the tabs just tell stories of guardians during the red war. Generally, since it’s a reskinned of the starter armor, it’s merely for celebrations

Like, literally what do the lore tabs say? The collections should show you. If you mean what are they, they are celebration armor that we... I don’t know what we do with them

ahh, i remember the horrible grind for all 3 sets just for a lousy ship... AAAAAAANYWAYS, the Solstice armor seems to be a revamp of the parade set we were wearing when the Red War started, and it is pretty much just a way for us to remember those who fought and died in the Red War. I pretty much see it like this: the parade armor we were wearing was to celebrate the anniversary of the Battle of Six Fronts so for the Solstice Set it is to celebrate the ending of the Red War and a way to honor the memory of all those who fought and died to protect humanity and its Traveller in one of our darkest hours.

3 RepliesThe Solstice Armor is a way of remember the past events on how the City almost fell to the Red Legion. It is a holiday to celebrate the survival of the Light, the City, and Humanity. Guardians who adorn the Solstice Armor are not doing so just to show how strong their light is, but to remember those that fell during the Red War and honor their legacy.

It's the armor that "almost was". It was just busy work for the end of the season, it was useless (no perks) less than a month later. You didn't miss much.
