Monitors lose signal when playing Destiny 2

I have been able to play the game normally since it came out on PC, but two days ago a problem started occurring that has made it unplayable. Basically, my two monitors lose all signal from the GPU when playing Destiny 2, I can still hear the sounds and the music, but there is no way to recover the image. I have tried unplugging the cables to the GPU and plugging them back in, I have tried turning off and on the monitors and I have restarted my PC a bazillion times. Because Destiny is the only game I have been playing lately, last night I did a Windows reset and formatted all my hard drives. To my surprise, when i got the game running again, I encountered the same problem. I have noticed that most of the crashes occur when I select a landing zone from the map, but there are instances when it happens just by selecting my character. I have checked the temps on my 980ti and the max I have seen is 75 degrees. I have the latest NVIDIA drivers installed. I also tried PUBG just to see if it was just Destiny, and sure enough, PUBG plays just fine. I don't know what else I can do at this point, any help would be appreciated.

  • Hey there. To be honest, this sounds like your monitors are failing. You may want to lower your clockspeed of your GPU to see if that helps. You could also try lowering your hz on your monitor to see if that helps.
