Posted about this about 6-7 months ago I'd say. My post history is gone now but I remember roughly what was said between me and Bungie support. I have a i5 6600, a GTX 1070, 16GB of RAM and the game installed to an SSD. I run the game at 1080p High settings with Texture Quality turned to Ultra. If I go to the tower with a friend who has hardware 3-4 years older than me, he'll be ready to leave because he's turned in his engrams and collected his bounties by the time I've loaded in. I have found someone else with the exact same setup as me apart from they have a i5 6500 and they have the same issue, and multiple people with similar setups having this issue. When I asked Bungie support about this I linked them reddit posts and forum posts about the issue because almost everyone posted it had a 10 series GTX GPU. I was told they were actually aware of the issue and would be fixing it soon. I stopped playing regularly around February and only joined my clan in weekly raids. Load issues were still there but I didn't really care at that point. I am playing the game regularly again now. The issues Bungie promised me would be fixed last year are still not fixed. Please Bungie, provide me with a solution for this. It is incredibly frustrating loading in over a full minute after people that have weaker hardware than me. I have done all the "basic" fixes you can imagine. Reinstalled. Forwarded all ports and opened my NAT type in case it was a network issue. Scanned and repaired. Cleaned all drivers and reinstalled. Reinstalled Windows. Nothing has helped. If anyone at all has any idea on a solution I haven't already tried please help
