Dude you are gonna get a lot of no life comp players that are like my old internet company, if you talk crap on a gun or the game mode they will try everything to protect it. They only care about themselves and they don't realize how hard we players have it out here, they say get good well that isn't possible when we have people like them to go against. They will do anything to protect bungie and their rep., take me for instance I say one bad thing about recluse the entire no life army comes in saying I'm bad and that I need to stop whining.

The playerbase isn’t big enough to be dividing up players like that. Besides, you’re going into a [b]team[/b]based gamemode. You’re penalizing yourself by leaving your teammates and opposition up to RNG. This is easily rectified by joining/creating a team yourself. This is a [b]You[/b] problem.

If you only own the base game your at a disadvantage. - nerfing luna/nf meant the best weapon in game is no longer available to people who don't own dlc's -enhanced perks on legendary gear only come from forsaken or annual pass (i know they said IB is adding enhanced perks but if your lvl 20 and you go into IB agaisnt lvl 50 power 750 you are literally not going to kill anyone , i know because i tried and my auto rifle did literally 1 damage per hit , so i would have to fire 200 rounds to kill one person, not going to happen.) - the best exotics come from dlc's except the stompees -your given less vanguard tokens for doing the same strike -legendary engrams do not drop with random rolls if you don't own the dlcs - you will never get an exotic engram from killing enemies unless you own forsaken and bungo says they will be free to play , it's lies. Your free to play something like a demo except you can get stomped out by people who bought the dlc's.

Solo comp isn't that bad

I quite enjoy pvp..find it more interesting playing against another person than ads, even more so if im matched against someone who's better than me, even if i end up losing i just see it as a learning curve 🤷🏼 I solo queen in both qp and comp and have gone on winning streaks. Just because you might end up on a team full of solo players against four stack it doesn't mean you're going to end up losing the match.

If I may, and in no way am I referring to “get good”... But what are you focusing on with your build for comp? Do you have synergy with your preferred main weapons etc? This pvp is very annoying... and a lot of that has to do with other play styles more than anything. A team of four that is confident, communicating, and have synergy builds are going to trigger anyone while they steam roll ya... But I stopped and thought about this.. looking at my rolls, my armor, and my play style. I realized that most issues were with me. Obviously I am not talking about the p2p or stacked teams of better players... but I was making more mistakes that punished me more than anything else. A lot of players do not put together the math of this game. They see what is the fastest ttk per word of mouth or YouTube... and just try to run it. It will never work in this game. A lot of people do not realize that they can do so much more with their builds. Not only individually, but also can lend some massive support to others.. if they played with said awareness. Example: I did a hunter build I call the “aim bot”. I rolled a service revolver with moving target and opening shot. I put a targeting adjuster mod on it. I have enhanced hand cannon targeting on my helmet. Enhanced hand cannon reload to help with the service revolvers slow reload speed. I run top tree golden gun because a kill boosts reload for not only me, but my teammates. ^ I paired all of this with lucky pants. My decision making is still on me and why I am an average player... but you can be damn sure I am hitting some amazing shots with my build... and yes, some shots have gone through walls due to my hit box being so large per all my targeting buffs.... and it makes the pvp fun! A lot of fun. I deal with latency and I have seen some crazy things kill me in this game... and there is nothing you can do about it. I got so triggered, I became that annoying person to play with. The very definition of a try hard cussing and complaining non stop and for what? An ego in a video game? It is not worth it. I took a break. I did some research... and I am having a blast building synergy that takes my pvp to a new level and makes it really enjoyable. Yes I die a lot.. because I tried to play a style that did not work with my skill or my build.. as I invested in my build, it made me look at my style. Sorry for the long post.. but if you are getting triggered, you need to step back and ask yourself if you really are taking advantage of a build and weapons that work in your favor. I would love to run around with spectral blade and smoke people with the chaperone while invisible... but I am not good at it.. so why try. < this example goes with everything to everyone. If I want to run the above scenario, then not only do I need to run it non stop, because that is THE only way to get better with it, but I need to change my mobility, my armor perks, and my sensitivity to have synergy with it.

People aren't actually dropping like flies. I know that's what some on this forum like to repeat, over and over, and over. But the weekly/daily numbers are up. And with more details coming out about the Bungie, Activision split, monthly player numbers were around 6 million in May, which is around just a month ago. People, like yourself, have a bad pvp experience, or hate cores in infusion, and think their opinions must be majority opinions. So when they quit playing, they assume many others are quitting as well. It's simply an ego thing. People often assume, I'm an average gamer, so other average gamers must experience games and reality in general, like I do. Which is more often then not, not the case. And when I say, "ego," I'm not using it in a derogatory manner, just simply one's own perception of their reality.
