The new pinnacle sniper the Revoker needs to be buffed or have it’s perk reworked. Compared to other snipers like twilight oath or the new beloved sniper, it just does not feel as good to use. The sniper looks very cool, but the perk just isn’t all that pinnacle. The second thing that I can’t really understand is why make it in the worst rpm, 72? There is no benefit to using the slower firing snipers if they can’t do anything that the 140 and 90 can’t, for example, it can’t even kill a super. I enjoy using the sniper, however, when it does not even fell great to use compared to other non pinnacle weapons, something needs to be changed.

Edited by WulfPak666: 6/14/2019 10:31:17 PMI have a semi original idea (lol) Give it a buffed Keyhole perk off NLB. * Getting a Crit kill drastically increases reload speed and greatly increases dmg on your next shot * Rewards your for getting crits by allowing you to get a 1hk body shot or the ability to 1 shot someone out of super. *Boom* Pinnacle PvP sniper

Why don’t we change it so every time you fire a bullet everyone dies in the game. How about that eh.
-
The problem with this weapon is it feels „too heavy”. It could use more aim assist and handling. I guess 90/140 archetype would fix that issue.
-
Personally I feel like this pennicale quest had the intentions of the reward just making those not so good at sniping better. Kinda like training wheels to 2 wheels. Especially considering how good beloved is.
-
The revokers perk should be "headshot kills on full health targets revokes all special ammo on the killed target on revive" Flavour text : THERE IS NO MERCY IN THE CRUCIBLE GUARDIAN NOW SHOWTHEM WHAT THAT TRULY MEANS - Shaxx

want mulligan? no? have it as a pinnacle

I agree about everything except the archetype. 72rpm snipers are much better than people give them credit for. They can't 1 shot supers, but that was never the main purpose of high impact anyway. It's not that often that you see a roaming super at mile-long range, and have the aim to headshot them. They were always good because you could switch to your primary after landing a bodyshot and finish them off easily. They're especially good if used with The Last Word for that reason.

Who needs Snipers at ALL We have this wonderful contraption called ARBALEST
-
It isn't that bad. I think if the high impacts could dome supers it would be in a better place.
-
They're dumbing down everything; did you notice how easy it was to get? I would've gotten mine day one but life got in the way - I'll finish the glory points, when I get back into town on Tuesday. Not pinnacle, just another weapon, they're out of ideas.
-
Hitting head shots should kill super, also it should return 3 to the mag, if you get 3 head shot kills in the space of 20 seconds.
-
It’s the easiest pinnacle weapon to obtain regarding crucible. I think it’s sitting right where it deserves to be.
-
At least it isnt the Hush bow. That bow is the very meaning of trash. It shouldn't even be considered pinnical. Just sad how a lead designer would actually sign off on that -blam!-ing heap of trash.
-
I like the perk. I’m not a good sniper so this lets me do some drag snipes, quick scope snipes, and even no scope without feeling the pain of the ammo economy.
-
It's a freebie weapon like Broadsword. If it were too good, it would require getting to at a minimum, fabled rank. It is by far the easiest Crucible pinnacle to acquire.
-
It should at least have no distractions as a perk
-
It’s fine I’m doing good with it
-
I think they purposely made it this way since it's one of the easier crucible weapons to get and the last several where considered OP. I do think they should buff its handling and maybe make it where body shots will refund in addition to a miss. This buff wouldn't make it too OP since you have to use 2 bullets and only 1 is returned.
-
Free ammo on miss, isn't pinnacle?
-
It should give ammo on kill aswel. You know .. to atleast motivate you to be bettter.
-
disagree, the thing is solid and feels very smooth its perk is pretty OP, it allows for risky shots to be taken with 0 penalty. Thats a sniper's wet dream, especially those who set up in cheeky spots where its hard to kill them but hard for them to get a kill.

Edited by Shadow_1066: 6/14/2019 4:12:09 PMTwo ideas for an additional perk to make this gun more pinnacle: 1. Head shot buffs equipped primary for xx seconds 2. Body shot increases speed to switch to primary.
-
Its pretty easy to get. I think this was a way to get non PVP players into comp, so they cant really make it way over powered. Use the other snipers that you like instead. Not every gun is going to be liked by everyone. I didnt like Luna's howl at first. Then my Telesto got nerfed. Then i mained LH for the rest of season 6.
-
It's also (arguably) the easiest of all the pinnacle weapons to get. So I've got no issue with it not being a beast.
-
What do you expect from a gun that doesn't have any real challenge to get?
