Save your cash for some other game, or maybe whatever is coming next in Destiny. They have the Twitch stream tomorrow. If it's another annual pass, I'm done.

Do you like throwing balls and variations on horde modes?

That depends on you metric. As an annual/season pass, there is inherently a time limit on the value for money proposition being made. As you will have access to the content provided by the pass, the experiential worth if that content and its relevance to the entire game will depreciate over time. In terms of raw content, yes, the annual pass is a great value. Not only is there several new gear sets and weapons, but there also a few quests for exotics that held a special place in D1. There are several new activities to partake in; most are in the casual range that offer matchmaking and can be accomplished without a microphone - there are few mechanics involved. These activities do require some knowledge,however, but most of the mechanics are recycled from other content. Two new mini-raids (around the Crota’s End mark in length) were also added. There was also a ton of excellent lore added and 3 new titles to chase, if that is your sorta thing. That being said, if your primary focus is PvP, than I would skip the pass, as it offers more or less nothing new. Like I said before, the value of all this content is diminished by the fact that most players will likely be moving on in 3 months or so to whatever the next DLC is. Think of it like a Theme Park. Paying $30 for access to the park for June, July and August is a lot better than paying $30 for just August.

Depends on what you want out of Destiny. If you’re big on the story, it’s a pass because there is almost none. It’s just lore cards from activities for the most part. Once the Forsaken story was done, this was year of the errands. Unengaging activities to do just for the sake of it. I can’t say that I like the annual pass system of releasing content. I hope they go back to story DLCs.

For me, Black Armory alone was worth it. I am still having fun doing the forges.

It’s on sale for £20 now but I’m still thinking.....naaaah!
