9 RepliesAnyone paying attention to the fact that they are nerfing these weapons before the new content drops?? Hmmm...🤔🤔 I wonder...... It's because they know these nerfs will help with the "content drip" process they always seem to favor. Once the new raid drops on day one, they don't want it to be blown through. Bungie has taught me a lot about being suckered. I'm grateful for that. I won't purchase another thing in advance again until it's been reviewed thoroughly. My opinion only. Don't need the negative comments like "you don't have to play this game", and blah blah. I'm speaking on behalf of a GAME, not anyone in particular. So please have that same respect.

I mean, the only change I REALLY have a problem with is the Whisper nerf. Ain’t nobody using that anymore. And Titans are already irrelevant in Endgame PVE. reverting the nerfs would just make it more so.

30 RepliesDoes't matter, these nerfs need to happen for the health of the overall game. The Legend Himself made an excellent video detailing the reasons why many of these nerfs need to happen for the long term health of the game, and I for one agree with most of his posts. Hell, even Joker agrees with the super nerfs.

19 RepliesI never complain when I get killed by Ace of Spades. Just because a gun is really good doesn't mean it needs a nerf. However when a gun is broken, it needs a nerf. Luna's Howl and Not Forgotten are getting that nerf soon. Thats all we need, not Whisper, Ace, of Wolves.

I really hope not. So tired of the same recycled gear that’s released and labeled new content. The sad thing is, we all know what Destiny 3 will be. More of the horrendous annual/season pass and stripping all our gear away just to reintroduce it for a 3rd time as new content. Here’s your Last Word for a 3rd time. Here’s your Thorn again.... Here’s your Ghalahorn again... here’s your Mida Tool for a 3rd time.... WotW again.... Sigh... I’d really like to see them get away from the whole concept of reintroducing old weapons and armor. If people really want this stuff, they should maybe add a Legacy tab where you can re-purchase and acquire weapons you already had in D1 and D2.... what’s the point of this reparative recycled content over and over.... Its literally taking the fun right out of the game and erasing any time spent getting the weapons in the first place. But hey, Bungie will screw Destiny 3 all up, just like they have been doing for 5 years now. I seriously don’t think they even play their own game, nor read anything in these forums. The Development team and decision makers at Bungie have no concept of what the game is or can be... It’s incredibly disheartening to see the same mistakes and poor judgment being made time and time again. You’d think Bungie would have finally learned after 5 years of continuous trial and error.... repeating the same mistakes over and over and over.... I for the life of me can’t figure out how it’s so difficult for them to take constructive criticism and use the ideals provided in there’s forums. I’ve read hundreds upon hundreds of posts and threads on here that have provided amazing ideals and new concepts that would make the game amazing. Yet, Bungie just does nothing.... and the worst thing of all, is the horrendous communication they provide or lack thereof... It’s just deafening silence week after week, month after month.... With no clear direction or concept of the game.... sigh... I digress... add this post to many thousands that go unread by Bungie....

2 RepliesAgree completely. Everything that is special is always nerfed and a lot of times they nerf the wrong things. Whisper is an exotic. They already knew from D1 what white nail perk did only problem in D1 was that it was a legendary gun. It is perfectly fine the way it is now. If they want to change it that it takes ammo then at least make every crit you fire do more and more damage so if you hit all your shots then the final shot does massive damage! The problem with guns like Luna and NF are not the guns it is the way it's rewarded. The 5500 mark in comp is bs. Most of the players got it using exploits, cheating, ddossing, etc. Also the whole point system is not competitive like. Players of 5500 points don't go up anymore so the ranking gets messed up. Also the reset after each season is bs. And of course no solo match making. Rather make the NF a grinding quest where you can also get the gun if you reach 2100 points in 3 seasons. In my opinion an exotic weapon should be more powerful and better than any other weapon. Also because you are only allowed to use one. A lot of times the exotic weapons don't feel extra powerful or special. Heard something on nerfing the Outlook Perfected like why? It is already pretty tough to get and an exotic gun and it is not way powerful than for example a Bygones or that forge pulse. I expected more from guns that came back like Last Word and Thorn too but they are a bit disappointing compared to the D1 versions in their fixed prime. So not the time when they were like sniper weapons. All this nerfing just gives players a lot of negative feelings all the time and a lot of guns that are being nerfed are not the guns that should be nerfed. If they want to adjust something then adjust the Jotunn. Make it more powerfull and make it a power weapon instead of a special weapon. Crucible sucks at the moment. Too many 1 shot weapons that don't require skill and that are not power weapons. Another option is reducing the ammount of special and power ammo like the way it was in D1 but with the change that you don't lose the ammo if you die. Start with a base amount of ammo and you can get more from ammo spawns only. If you die you just keep what you had.

Unfortunately it's hard not to interpret this follow up as attention seeking, it has all the appearances of gloating and it's humorous to see the two of you feeding on your success. Having upvotes on a forum is great but you won't be able to use it on your resume :( You seem to really care about this though, maybe you can write a well-thought-out post and give us your solutions to fix what seems to be broken :) Peace
