The one major oversight is they didn’t acknowledge how much harder these changes will make previous content, and the fact that it complete screws over soloist activities.

Thing is past content will be easier already due to the new max light being 750 (what i assume at least).

They’ve been scaling content for awhile though so there isn’t an advantage to being overleveled, just a disadvantage to being under-leveled.

Considering escalation protocol is much easier at the correct light level light and even black armory after people said it was difficult even at reccomended levels, I'd say being above the reccomended by a fair amount makes the content easier.

Its easy to say that now before they nerf all these items that you use in literally all of those activities.

You know enemies will scale with your Light Level?

For what activity? Escalation protocol for example doesnt have LL 700 enemies unless they've changed how activities work.

Enemies scale with your level dude. A level 5 Dreg will do just as much damage to you as a max level Dreg.

Yet I'll be able to take out that dreg far more easily than me being exactly at 5. Easiest example is how people were complaining about the first black armory forge being too difficult, even at the right light level. Now a days it's a cake walk. Same with escalation protocol to the point all you need to do is know how to shoot and have decent dps weapons, where as before you needed very good communication or and the popular build of tractor cannon and nova locks. Similar to raids as a whole if you go back into them especially with knowing better strategies and overall better knowledge on how things play. As i said being a higher level overall makes previous content easier.

Again, it’s power scaling. Enemies are progressing with you. The only reason those activities seem easier is because you’re more experienced at them now, which you just admitted to.

Didnt know about the mechanics at all aside from the obvious shoot those glowy things and throw the orbs. I mean by that logic i should've failed as i didn't know any mechanics before hand yet i survived and held my own because of my light level being higher than the reccomended.

Please dont resort to being a child and throwing insults because i see things differently. Again i fail to see where I'm wrong as its true content gets easier the higher of a level you are.

They never consider previous content. That's why Escalation Protocol is barren.
