When I get to this I'll be as utterly toxic and disrespectful of crucible as possible. Jotunn and possibly suiciding in comp if the mood strikes me.
Yes I'm that guy. Dont force us into crucible.

Dont force me into story missions and strikes for gear. #removepve
Dont force me into story missions and strikes for gear. #removepve
They could always just do 2 separate games...see which one has more players ;)

And what are you supposed to do when you finish your weekly milestones and PvE activities?
-
And what are you supposed to do when you finish your weekly milestones and PvE activities?
Play a different game. FFS theres more than Dedtiny out there lol.

Then it's not going to have a very high player count. ;)
Then it's not going to have a very high player count. ;)
You hit the nail on the head bud. They artificially elevate crucible numbers by forcing people in there that dont want to be in there.
You hit the nail on the head bud. Also, they artificially inflate PvE numbers by having the Tower count as playing PvE on the player count sites.

Crucible in destiny 1 is the only reason the game survived. It’s the only reason you have pve now. That time will come again too. This game is too slow on content not to have it. Coming from almost exclusively a pve player

Coming from almost exclusively a pve player
I know this is the commonly held notion from tryhards but it's not true. And in D2 the crybaby crucible players were the first ones to leave the game and all your hypocritical bandwagon streamers went with them. The time will come when the game just dies.i really don't get why Destiny pvp players are SO serious about themselves. Literally nobody in the gaming world has or will ever take Destiny pvp seriously. It's a big joke. I'm also done ever hearing your thoughts again. Muted.

Most of the time when people mute you they A know you are right and don’t want to hear that or B are kids who want the last word. Year 2 destiny 1 late in the year with no content the only thing that kept destiny relevant was streamers running trials. Otherwise people would have forgotten about the game completely. When pve content is dry pve players go to crucible. But I forget that for the casuals strikes are endgame so there ya go. Casuals won’t keep the game going.
-
Dude, you don't have one character at 700. You're a casual. Lol
-
During season of gambit why yes. What else is there to do? Gambit is disgusting. Just run a raid report. Have been around since the start and am going to stick to this crazy ride til the end. Just not enough to do with only gambit though.
-
Lol, well I can’t argue with you there. I’m getting a bit bored with running spider bounties doing strikes and ascendant challenges myself. I hate Gambit.
-
As soon as I got Breakneck I swore off gambit, and I liked gambit before that.
-
Yeah I actually played Gambit prime a bit last night with my brother. It wasn't too bad. First time since the first week it came out I think.
-
It’s a great idea but it was so badly executed. I’ve been playing other games and casually playing destiny. There’s just not enough meat on the content releases.
-
Honestly if people only play pvp in this game they are "casual" (whatever that actually means in terms of gaming). At the peak of Trials they had 500k; and most of them were the same people doing paid carries.
-
That’s the point. You have a raid people have done 100+ times or strikes that are mindless but pvp is the only differential. That is what most players do. Believe it or not the ones complaining on the forums are a minority. A very vocal less than 1 percent.
-
The forums are for feedback and don't represent either the minority or majority no matter how vocal they are. 500k players on 3 platforms isn't the 14.5 million that started with this franchise. If their point/goal was to turn this game from an MMORPG arcade style shooter into a competitive esport pvp game, then they are doing doing that, and those 13 million "casual" pve players who did raids 100+ times have taken their business elsewhere. I'm not sure 500k pvp players can keep this franchise in business, but who knows?
-
28 million destiny 2 copies sold actually. Only 2 million came back for forsaken. Including new players. Now they are luck to hit 600k

Part of the issue with this community right here. Just suck it up and do it man.
