I'd watch the hell out of that nonsense. Ya bungie, since ya obviously dont like how "we play the game" show us how YOU want us to play your game.

 • I have been saying this for years. Just tell us what you want the meta to be so we can prepare to just start chasing it right away.

 •
Well, first-off swing by Eververse...
Ok then what? I feel like there is valuable advise here. I can see Deej on a live stream saying this bullshit.

 • Deej can’t even reload his gun let alone finish an end game activity.

 • Well, we can re-enact them, I think. Hammer titans will do for Thor, Sentinels for Captain America...:) P.S. What about GoT? My friends are buzzing like transformer/bee hive hybrid. :)

 • GoT is bad enough without super powered people. I believer there is an animated avengers where Tony turned dark. Essentially being a tyrant kind of like Superman in the fighting game they made.

 • Are dragons considered to be super-power?:) Honestly, I'm so lost on those "superhero" universes, which is canon, and which is "side-quel", so I gave all hope on even beginning my understanding.

 • Dragons are probably in the super natural range. So uncommon your not sure if it’s safe to even try anything.

 • What Ana Bray said about hive magic? It's just science. :) Technically they are just huge reptiles with thick skin, whose metabolism allows them to breathe out combustible... compound. Or it may be self-igniting, when mixed with oxygen.

 • So what’s with the goofy hoop law rituals then?

 • We still talking about Destiny? As I dropped reading Martin's books some time ago and I'm out of loop of GoT hype whatsoever. If it's Destiny, than maybe ritual requires, say, resonance, or focus, or amplification of a signal, that could be achieved by standing in particular place, due to some properties of said place. Like magnetic anomaly for our compasses, or "car rolls uphill" paradox (just an illusion of uphill in fact). Or just being at certain distance away from it, like we need to place magnifying glass certain distance away from object we'd like to lit with it. After all, in WH40K there is a lot of "rituals" in Adeptus Mechanicus cycle that replaced maintenance.

 • So basically built a religion out of a science need rather than just saying stand here and the planet can explode? There goes sword logic, it’s just a farce to work out by killing things. Also means the idea the sword builds up power over use is a stupid concept as well. Unless somehow it’s material that collects energy to divert into fancy fire. Should also mean they have to take a break since it’s a metabolism thing. Only so many calories of whatever they eat.

 • If people don't understand something, they either revere it, fear it, or just follow the guidance. Dara O'Briain on technology. :D Sword logic could be explained via some strange parasite, that feeds off from certain chemicals/hormones (instead of ordinary protein/fat/carbohydrates). Say, hive kills someone, that releases, I dunno, adrenaline, noradrenaline, and endorphins into their bloodstream, and said worm feeds off that. If there is no supply if said chemicals, worm releases something (another chemical) that stings the host (causes pain) to coerce it to kill (and thus release chemicals into bloodstream), or effectively kills unwilling host, to get different one. This could also serve as an "example" to convince other to comply. Worm could grow from supply of chemicals from bloodstream, thus explaining requirement to kill more and more powerful beings (greater foe causes greater exert of forces, thus release of more hormones). In return worm can work as an effective "steroids" that makes host stronger. Not sure how to explain, say, fireballs, but theoretically it may be some sort of static electricity discharge/generation, maybe it a cost of draining actual power (as of stamina, not wattage) from host/surrounding. After all, we know some animals, capable of producing electric charge and, to extent, something resembling an actual fire (replace acid/poison with some self-igniting liquid, and there you go).

 • So we have space magic but can’t figure out that the hive aren’t the darkness. Just a very sadistic torture of a parasite driving its hosts to destroy just to live. Then how does Xol get explained? He literally suck led light from us by being next to us. I suppose you could say extreme magnetic field essentially black holes our light from us.

 • Aaah! Space magic! I'm having Mass Effect PTSD all over again! Well, at least it's not blue/green/red this time. :D Entire concept of Light and Darkness is up to a discussion, because from what I was able to get, there are some discrepancies in description (thought mostly vagueness). And not just there - I wrote quite a wall of text on firearms. :) If we assume that light (well, our abilities) is some power/energy that is drawn from surroundings, then we can theorize that guardians are mutants (similar to witchers:)), who can draw upon that energy, similar to those electric rays and other variations of something of natural occurrence, such as bioluminescence (only magnified and modified). It could be either via new organs, or technology, be that implants or parts of armour. Hard to explain how can we wield fire power that takes shape of a hammer, sword, or gun, but maybe those who were able to use those abilities first, used those shapes because it is easier for our mind to comprehend and thus summon and wield, I mean "just grab that golden gun and shoot them in the arse" is far simpler than trying to "absorb the power surrounding you and manifest it in form of "go plough yourself"". Sentinel shield could be a shaped distortion of magnetic field (for example), so concentrated it dense enough to stop projectiles. Shield throw - smokers doing their rings or dolphins doing basically the same. Not sure if we ever did that in vacuum, but who knows.

 • You know you ruining people’s space magic lol. In our case most likely we are like a bulbasaur performing solar beam. However it is more like we were rebuilt with our past conscious as best as possible. Instead of a normal body it has a lot of enhancements. Though doesn’t explain why some are OP like Anna Brey. I can see in our case we can simply pull a SSB Goku deal and build our strength by condensing light energy into a electric or even proton energy. We actually are more easily explained. Your idea of how void power May work could be about right. If that was the case in theory we can crack open a ghost and really pump our selves up by direct traveler connection.

 • There is no majique, only science! :) I can't remember any creature capable of performing pyro-something other than bombardier beetle (though technically it's exothermic) and bioluminescent creatures, but we have a lot of substances that are pyrophoric by themselves. Combining these we can theorize of possibilities to create a stream of "solar" energy with high enough combustion temperature. Again, we don't know whether it is requires air as oxidant, or it is completely different reaction. In addition, we don't know whether we do extract it from surroundings, or carry somewhere within us, meaning can we do that only in "liveable" space, or there are some capacitors, outside of guardian body. Void is most difficult to extrapolate, because of description I could find. If it is related to gravity, then we can assume it is somehow related to creation of anomalies, caused by changes of magnetic field, which is again, already been performed, even if on small scale with use of various tricks. If it is some "dark space wabbuh" - hell if I know, then. :) Ana Bray is special by many means. Some time ago I asked in "Lore" about implants, as she clearly has some. For example, those implants we saw in her eyes during intro to Warmind could be Bray property. Or it could be an alteration to her body during revival. Because if she had Bray tech (I mean they created Exos - what are mere implants?) and she died, and decomposed, those implants, being mechanical, could be... Well, roll out of her cranium or taken by birds or something. Her knowledge is something I can't comprehend, but again, I'm a mere construction worker, not Rasputin's creator. :) My knowledge on programming ends with Basic:) and neural networking on "when you got light tap on your knee you'll jerk":). *giggles* I just imagined you popping up some ghost like a can of beverage to drink it's "juice". :) Red ghost gives you wings. :)
