special ammo isn't a problem imo. Heavy on gamemodes like survival and countdown is. Heavy just should not exist on either of those gamemodes.

  • Agreed. Other thoughts, Super mods and orb generation from non-support Supers should exist in PvP. What it does is creat a cascading effect that leads to snowballing if popped right. Supers and Heavy ammo should not exist in Countdown period. It often leads again to a snow ball where if a team is up 2-1 but they were up longer they now have a Super like Spectral Blades that can point out exactly where the opponent is and last long enough to wipe the whole team. If they have multiple Spectral blades it is now 4-1 or 5-1 and because of the quick kills it is likely only one of the opponents has a Super to challenge. It makes it far too easy. Countdown should become a game of whoever pops their Super first. I’m guilty of this as well though. Just this weekend we were down 5-2 on a countdown. Came back with Supers to tie it ( GG teammates there). On match point since I was first to use my Super, I was close to another. Stalled long enough to get the Super then kill 3 of 4 while my team defused their bomb. I knew as long as we held them off long enough to get my Spectral Blades it was game over because none of the other team had a Super left.

  • yea, supers are probably a no no in survival and countdown as well. But i am fine with orb generation on supers in crucible in general. I actually am not a fan of how they nerfed that from d1 tbh. use to be every kill by your super generated an orb for your teammates. Now its like 1 for every two kills? Of course, d1 crucible was actually fun though, so there is that.
