Legends tell that the being you call Auryx had conquered thousands, perhaps millions of worlds. But there were few who successfully fended off his advances. Of which, I’m told, I am one of the very few, possibly the only one who had him fleeing the quickest. The planet that I happened to be sojourning upon had come under his sights and lust for control. An attack of the spirits he sent forth ahead to sow seeds of fear and discord. I responded with my own, planting but a tiny seed of self doubt by means of his own religion. The Sword Logic. And it was simple. Fundamentally a shift of perspective. The unshadowed side of the same coin. Thus, the Sword logic proved a double edged blade. “You define yourself, oh prince of darkness, upon the graves you have slain. Upon those who no longer are. Empty monuments. In doing so, all you have proven is that you are merely stronger than the weak. A small flame consuming small things. But what is a flame to a star?” I appeared before him, in his own Dreadnought, before his own throne. I provoked his arrogance. Picking up a chunk of rock I said, “Your power is more empty than all the atoms of this stone.” Immediately, my mass was deconstructed. He laughed. I appeared to him again. “What have you proven,” I asked. “Foolish abomination,” Auryx scolded. Again, my matter was deconstructed. Again, I reappeared. “What have you proven?” Gradually, through this cycle, I observed his form to degrade. A knight. An acolyte. A thrall. Something of even lesser kind. He vomited out a worm, which swiftly burrowed into the ground. And there, I left him, in his shame. Upon returning to the planet, I found his Dreadnaught had promptly left the system. Thus, without so much as a weapon, or much effort, I had him slaying himself with his own Blade.

A behemoth is no easy target, I assure you that no one shot short of a fat man shell will down one of those brutes. And yes, while ferals are pathetic creatures, large numbers of them at close range can be overwhelming. As for Ornin, he may have been a mutated freak, but he was no fool. The skulls of countless brothers and sisters lined his fortress, his death was nothing less than an act of pure heroism. Your last statements border on heresy in these parts, not just by Brotherhood standards.
