Grinded Breackneck, grind Malfeasance: dozens of rewards, still no pillager! Your RNG is horrible!!!

You really need to start looking into your god awfull RNG mechanics. How can it be that any player who invests so much time in your game gets so little reward out of it.
I've grinded and grinded and grinded to get Breackneck, I'm almost done for Malfeasance, just a few kills away. I've received every gambit item ingame except 1: The Pillager.. How can I get a damn trophy if your implementation of RNG rewards might even never in my lifetime give me that gun? We need ways as a player to combat RNG systems in game. Every RNG game gives you at least some possibility to put the odds in your favor. Something as simple as getting a choice between armor or weapon as a reward could greatly benefit your chances of getting that 1 last missing item.
You're burning people out. It's RNG on top of RNG, wrapped in RNG with some RNG to top it off. You've created the most unrewarding system I've ever came across in a video game.
Horrible, horrible game design.
Same for EP weapons: I've yet to get 1 of the possible 3 that drop. It's infuriating.

Edited by Giggles: 6/3/2019 10:44:55 PMI made a post for same issue but on the auto rifle from Reckoning. Forget the name now but ran 140+ successful Tier 3 runs with nothing. Day I posted that night I got 1 drop for the auto rifle and 3 drops of Doomsday. Odd it was exactly the 2 weapons I needed to finish the gambit weapons. I have only been playing since April'ish and have received all the weapons for Gambit however Pillager only 2 and Rocket Launcher x2 but rest are dropping like flies. RNG is RNG but eventually odds should play in your favor. This however does not act like RNG as some players are missing only 1 of something that others get nonstop. RNG I should get a little of everything unless 1 is weighted more then another which why would it be except to push for longer play time. EP i got all weapons within 10 runs but I know people who cant get even 1 drop. It doesnt seem like its a true random thing but almost like people are granted certain weapons and others are not from the inception of them trying. I spent 13 years in Warcraft and drop rates were posted and pretty true however you knew your odds and knew eventually it would drop for you. I have 0 faith in the drops of this game whatsoever and I have only played a couple of months.

Only missing Hazard of the Cast to claim Dredgen, I have everything else. RNG or Badges for seals need to be looked at and adjusted.

I’m still trying for a god roll Trust.... that thing is like a little Luna it rolled right🙄 week after week I do the milestones and bounties on all three characters and Nothing.... ugh

2 RepliesLMAO THE F*CKING PILLAGER CURSE. Dude I STG they make certain drops INFINITELY more rare than others. I’m up to my neck in Play if the Game, Hard Truths and Steel Sybil’s, but see a Better Devils once in a blue moon. I’m a full Dredgen and I think I have two? Pillagers? Maybe one? It’s ridiculous 😂 All I can recommend is do the Black Armory Augmented Gambit Weapon frames from Ada. 1 per character per week, so three in total each week. Guaranteed weapon drop. Maybe make a sacrifice to RNGesus. Thoughts and prayers my guy. RNG is a b*tch

3 RepliesI got several Pillagers, including another one just yesterday. You are experiencing the typical RNG frustration shared by many of us. Waiting months for something to drop is very discouraging. My elusive weapon is the Jotuun. I became burnt out running forge ignitions. Now I hardly play them anymore after 200+ completions.

3 RepliesI had all the Gambit weapons rather quickly. The problem I have is not getting the stupid auto rifle from the stupid Resonant Stems Which is WAY worse then missing a Gambit weapon.

Not a Pillager fan... only 15 impact on a 900RPM SMG vs. Trackless Waste with 20 impact + slightly less ammo, but better at most other stats. Still, this game's RNG does need work.

I ran EP with 2 clanmates the other night. .. last weapon the clanmate needed was the sniper, first run I got one, no one else. Second run I got one no one else.... third run, yup..I got one no one else. Took us 3 hours til he finally got one. Worst part, I really don't care for the title but the stuff drops for me, people like him that work for it never get it.

i didn't get a Hazard of the Cast until right before i unlocked the breakneck... go figure I don't understand why we cant direct buy from vendor's from playing the game. Hell the drifter has the best setup so far - reach ranks get stuff and rebuy whenever.

The pillager is awesome. I got 2 awesome rolls(zen moment + rampage and outlaw + rampage) and are a lot of fun. It surprises players in PvP especially when it melts them instantly. The only con to the pillager,obviously, is it’s range. But all and all it’s still amazing.

RNG is a load of crap, since day D1 day 1 it has been a literal mathematical impossibility that some people get each and every weapon and some people grind forever and nothing. Gally in D1 is a prime example it could drop from anywhere, the raids or just an engram. I got 2 in one day and some of my friends literally never saw one. But my white whale was the spindle I did raid after raid after raid and nothing, finally the week the nerfed it I got one. RNG is totally not random, I’ve done everything in the dreaming city since it dropped and not 1 cosmetic not 1. That’s not random it’s tied somehow to your unique ID. I can’t wait for some BUNGO employee to get fired and pissed and leak out what really goes on in there.

1 ReplyIf you have played as much Destiny as I am guessing you have played, in a way, Bungie’s awful RNG did exactly what they want. I highly doubt it’s a mistake and I highly doubt it’s not well researched as to wether or not the RNG keeps people playing the game vs people quitting the game. But yes it’s frustrating and massively irritating.

Frames from Ada are really good things for this. Every week i pick gambit and dreaming city ones. Already got god roll retold tale. P.s. This returned me to days when i needed trust for LH grind, but all i got was armor and rocket.
