Heroic Public Events as Quest Steps
Please, for the love of god, would you STOP making heroic public events quest progression steps? I can’t make an event heroic by myself with random players showing up, and hitting the boss with Blade Barrage & Chaos Reach while I’m trying to shoot the stupid vents, run across cryo-freeze goo, pick up two orbs and throw them. The event is over before I even get the second charge thrown.
I have been stuck for three days trying to complete this one step. I go and do other things to save my sanity. Then come back, and it’s the same thing I described above. I need this to unlock the forge, but my pain isn’t exclusive to Black Armory and I KNOW I’m not the only one of this opinion.
Requiring heroic event completion, when many players don’t even realize you can make events heroic - or worse, intentionally sabotage you because they’ve already done their quests - is myopic, and poorly considered.

I’ve been on...a few hours, nothing close to what I normally play, and tried two Cryo Pod public events. Random players blew it both times, and this week Tangled Shore is Flashpoint. You would think everyone would be all about making events heroic to get the rewards faster. You know, this mystery bit to make normal public events heroic? That may be a bit much for about 85% of the players apparently still on console. Which leaves me ready to quit playing your game.
