[spoiler]Burning Maul light attacks take no super energy and instead grant super energy like the battleaxe.[/spoiler] This is the PvE buff. We can all come to an agreement that the spin attack is completely useless in PvE compared to the slam that takes less energy, and makes fire tornadoes. Which leads me to the PvP buff: [spoiler]Fire tornadoes funnel opponents.[/spoiler] This is a needed buff, as this super has become a laughing stock for it's inability to hit opponents that stay in the air. It needs to be able to counter that by letting fire tornadoes from slams pull opponents down and incinerate them.
That PvE buff is one of the worst things I’ve ever seen suggested in this game. That would be so unbelievably broken it’s not even funny. PvP buff is pretty neat. Burning maul is already an incredibly powerful super. Just spam heavy attack and send out HUGE AoE explosions that leave fire tornados AND can one shot all roaming supers in the game.
