In regards of Telesto...

FOR THE LOVE OF GOD, READ THE WHOLE POST BEFORE YOU ASSUME I WANT IT NERFED TO DUST. I LOVE TELESTO, AND I KNOW BUNGIE IS LOOKING INTO BALANCING IT. I JUST WANTED TO GIVE FEEDBACK SO I CAN SAY I GAVE A SUGGESTION BESIDES NERFING THE LIVING BEJESUS OUT OF IT. THIS POST IS AN ATTEMPT TO SAVE ONE OF MY FAVORITE EXOTICS FROM A BAD NERF. YES, I USED IT FOR THE LAST FEW COMP MATCHES FOR LUNA. YES I USED IT AS A SHOTTIE COUNTER. NO, I DONT WANT IT NERFED SO OTHER PEOPLE CAN’T GET LUNA. IF YOU CRUTCH A SPECIAL WEAPON FOR LUNA, YOU DON’T DESERVE IT. So, I have been hearing a lot about Telesto in recent weeks, mostly that it needs a nerf. I used Telesto quite a bit to obtain the Luna's Howl, and I used it to great effect for the last 600 points before Fabled. It was great for keeping shotgun apes at an arm's length. I have been fond of it since D1. However, I have absolutely mapped people with the weapon, and am aware that some balance may be needed. While I say that, it should maintain its effectiveness so it doesn't become the same joke it was in D1. It should not move to power status, as it can't one shot supers, and can't kill in 4 bolts if the target has more than 7 resilience. I also would suggest against returning it to a time-based detonation rather than the current proximity-based detonation. The best option, in my opinion, would be to reduce the stability SLIGHTLY. While it technically has no damage falloff, one of the biggest OHK factors of fusions is stability. High stability means the bolts cluster together more, meaning more ranged OHKs. If the stability is reduced, it retains its effectiveness at close and mid-close range (which is what fusions typically do), while making it more difficult to use in the longer ranged that people have been complaining about. It also retains its "Exotic Feeling". Just wanted to give my thoughts, because I am aware that Bungie is looking into Telesto. Give this an upvote so the devs might see and not ruin the beloved Telesto (because its the Besto)! TL;DR: Nerf Stability. Still remains a good fusion, while not mapping people. P.S. IMO, shotguns need a once-over before Telesto does, but its whatever I guess

Now I want it nerfed.
