Queen's Court - Triangle Ships
I just entered the Queen's Court and walked along to speak with her. After doing so, I turned around and noticed the left "round table" when you walk in was lit up with holograms. I got a closer look, and as I walked around the table I realized they took the shape of the triangle ships.
Nothing has ever sent chills up my spine in Destiny like that.
So, we now know that Mara at the very least has an interest in them.

38 RepliesWell last time she mentioned a dream about destroying one of the ships while simply standing on it! Now she has images about it and is warning us that when the light and dark clash again (the first time it created the awoken) we may not like what get's created next. She also says that the Traveller is deliberately starting wars for us to fight! Other note worth changes are as follows:- 1.Petra is sending all data about the curse to Rasputin so that he can help find a way out. 2.Eris is leaving us secret messages in the queens court but, it would take a frikkin year of the cycle to get them all which is nonsense in my book. The messages have a code in then starting 000 AAA 001 AAA along with a few key phrases which I assume is the decrypt key for the rest of the hidden message. 3. When Eris lost the light she was able to remember her previous life and mentions that the Traveller is deliberately supressing guardian memories as part of it's "gift" of light. 4. Eris knows how to end the curse but, for some reason DOES NOT want the queen to have that knowledge. This implies she has worked out the queens true motives. 5. Petra seems to want us to kill an aspect of the awoken. Her comment that she is both the bird and the flower with the rotten roots and we must somehow kill the flower implies a very dark solution to the crisis. 6. We are definitely not part of the cycle. 7. In festival of the lost Holliday remarks that she is getting very odd readings that she has only ever seen when we (not Guardians in general) are out on a killing spree such as Oryx or Crota. This kind of confirms we are not ordinary guardians and that she has been studying us.

I was literally LOOKING if someone went and posted about this! Mara obviously knows about the triangle ships, she's studying them it seems. I'm very excited that those were shown another time besides the Traveler's Dream and the ending of the main campaign. It means those will be coming at some point and they haven't been overlooked. They haven't gone unnoticed for sure... Side note; Mara's words were quite chilling, yet unfortunately true in a way. However, this fight alone we kind of got ourselves into. Too much good can be the end of us, which is disturbing yet endearing. Just like she said; we need balance. Good and bad in all of us. This DLC showed that we can reap revenge, we took on a completely different role as a Guardian. We came for vengeance at the start, not justice. Depending if we continued because justice and good or for more revenge? Unknown. Though Riven and the Barons' words did boil my blood because they did explain how upset I was and how I was furious with Cayde's death.

There’s also a bunch of scroll/tablet like things and other stuff on the table. It’s like she’s researching them and/or tracking them. Maybe that’s one reason she said she would have destroyed the Traveler, not only because of what’s happened already but also because she knows what’s coming for it

3 RepliesYou know what I think about the triangle ships?? Every end crawls from the same pit, rising from the schism to swallow matter, Light and life. It cannot be stopped, but here, it can be slowed. The Shrines of Oryx must be destroyed.

Remember, if you read the Marasenna(I believe), there is mention of a strange looking ship appearing just before whatever happened to turn them happened. These ships were the “strange looking ships”

Like it would be sick to see their power on display by wiping an entire enemy race out, just by calming waving their hand or something. Whenever they arrive I really think they should be WAY beyond any power level that we could touch. We need to be afraid for a while...then...we get stronger. And wipe that mess out.
