As someone who doesnt have a lot of money to spend on games, these recent forsaken DLC changes actually really hurt. I bought the first 2 expansions about 2 weeks ago and was saving up to get Forsaken afterwards. Now it seems ive wasted my time and money into getting those expansions. I've wasted money getting something i could have simply gotten for free? There isnt even a difference in price for people who spent money on the expansions and people who havent yet. I really wish for a change to where if someone has bought the first 2 dlc expansions, they can get forsaken for $20 instead of $40 (Or something similar to that) I already spent the $20 getting the 2 expansions with the intenet of getting forsaken later. Another $20 for Forsaken would seem fair to people like me who already spent money leading up to Forsaken with the knowledge that the first 2 expansions were requred to play Forsaken (As stated in the PS Store on literally the first sentence) and this wouldnt affect anyone who hasnt gotten the first 2 expansions yet, just a nice incentive to people who spent money trying to get there and are already half way there. Now it seems like my journey is getting erased and I could have simply done nothing for the same benefits. Hopefully this message gets through and you guys give it a thought, it wouldnt affect anyone who hasnt gotten the first 2 dlc's since it would still be $40 to get Forsaken. Im simply suggesting a change for people who have already gotten the first 2 expansions because as it stands we are getting the short end of the stick. We only bought the 2 expansions to get Forsaken later, the people who bought it originally still got to climb and level up new content with lots of players but now the 2 expansion content is not new and everyone is playing Forsaken. We were already playing a shell of an older expansion with very few people playing in them compared to Forsaken stuff (Obviously). Currently my money feels like its been eraesed, been drained into the abyss, and because of this experience I dont think I will spend another $40 on Forsaken, because judging from this event and past events, there will be a $20 release in 2 months time including Forsaken and other expansions afterwards..... The current explanation is that there are people who bought the Forsaken DLC without getting the first 2 expansions. But did anyone actually do that? Its capitalized on the first sentence of Forsaken DLC that you need the first 2 expanions. Let me know too how many people actually bought the first 2 expansions just like me or got Forsaken only. if we have enough people who support this it wouldnt be too hard to implement at all, just a stand alone forsaken on the PS store like there is now that required the first 2 expansions, and a more expensive Forsaken pass that includes the Osiris and Warmind expansions for $40. And people who got Osiris and Warmind only like me, would this change incentivise you to actually get on Forsaken? Because it definately will for me, my money spent to progress my character wont feel wasted anymore if i can simply add on top to keep going. Instead of throwing everything out and starting over even after i spent my resources to get it.

  • I completely agree. Just got off the phone to Playstation support who (rightly) said as they don't own the products, they are unable to do anything. Bungie need to not only consider those who already bought Forsaken (as they have with their free in-game items) but also those of us who purposely bought the first 2 expansions with the intention to buy Forsaken afterwards. I too bought the first 2 expansions, at the end of September (not having £50 to spend on both the expansions and Forsaken) only to find 2 weeks later Bungie are including them, "for free" in their base Forsaken DLC. Very disappointing from Bungie here, acknowledging an error/mistake for not including them in the first place, and then not rectifying the entire fallout of this.

  • I feel your pain. Same situation, bought the first 2 DLC because I could not buy Forsaken, planning to buy it later. Now you can’t get it standalone so if I will buy Forsaken I will get again the first 2 DLC, I feel cheated:(
