Is there a way to do Exotics and not require all activity types?
Seriously. I now have the options of doing story, patrols, strikes or crucible. I was ok at crucible but shifting away from it towards the end of season 1. Got drug back in by needing crucible kills to get Polaris Lance and Tempest. My efficiency dropped dramatically by having to use specific weapon types. Now to get any exotics in Forsaken I am back into the crucible. Why? I can almost convince myself its ok to just suffer the lower efficiency for the end goal, however, the hate mail from team mates and the feeling of dragging the team down in Supremacy/clash types is very daunting. What is the good of having the ability to not play types you don't enjoy or are not good at if the quests put you there? I only play a couple hours a week, usually a Friday or Saturday night and I don't enjoy spending that whole time trying to accomplish one step of a quest because I suck so bad at head shots with hand cannons. Especially after all the times I put into this quest to get here. So, again I ask, is there a way to not have all play types involved in Exotics? Or for there to be a "practice" Crucible so I can get better without having other players asking me not to play because I suck so bad?
