I truly believe this change needs to happen ASAP. - Make Heroic Strike drops cap at 350 - Make Prestige Nightfall drops cap at 360 I understand that we have the Powerful Engram from doing the 3 Heroic Strikes, but I'd rather have that Engram drop only 1 item instead of 2, and have one 350 capped drop after every Heroic completion. Also the Nightfall Prestige shouldn't even be a question. Make it drop loot up to 360. It is hard, we deserve 360 for it. (You could even tie it to [u]score[/u], but make it a guarantee drop) I FULLY UNDERSTAND why the progression system got changed like this. It is [b]OUR[/b] fault. After Curse of Osiris we said it was ridiculous that you could hit Max light Day 1 after the expansion. Now Bungie made sure it was just impossible. Lets find a middle ground, just make it hard.. NOT impossible. [b]Current Progression system for NON raiders:[/b] 1) Get to 345 2) Complete Milestones 3) Wait for next week.. 4) Complete Milestones 5) IF you got to ~360, do Escalation Protocol (But is going to be HARD AF, and LFG is a mess) 6) Repeat 3, 4 and 5 until 385. [b]Optimal Progression System for NON raiders[/b] 1) Get to 345 2) Complete Heroic Strikes until 355 3) Complete Prestige Nightfall until 365 4) Complete Milestones 5) Complete Escalation Protocol (this after Milestones because you require more Power) - You are now hopefully around 370 6) Wait for next week.. 7) Repeat 4 and 5 until 385, which is supposedly a very slow grind. But at least we are around 370 and we can tackle every activity. You see how now we engage into different aspects of the game to achieve our goal? ^^ PS: I know Raiders can take advantage of this to fly through Power levels. [u]Easy Fix:[/u] Make old Raid drops cap at 360. Which I'm not sure if they do right now, I'm just assuming they cap at 380 after having all of the Youtubers suggest we do Raids to power up past 340. PS2: A little bonus, make Competitive Crucible [u]WINS[/u] drop 350 loot. Just so Crucible mains don't depend solely on Trials and Milestones ;)
