@cgbarrett, DMG04, & Cozmo. When are we going to discuss DLC 2??
Guys,
Don’t get me wrong. All these monthly patches of improvements are all step forwards to getting D2 back on course. But, you guys keep dodging the large issues in this game. Loots system (or loot at all. We were promised lots n lots of loot!!), weapon systems that your player base will actually like, PVE & PVP content that keeps us invested and grinding (like D1), lack of lore (grimoire cards) , monthly events that have purpose and meaning, etc.
The big stuff is something that I know can only come with big patches (expansions). And while I know that huge, sweeping, changes to the game probably won’t happen till a huge expansion (Fall), you’ve gotta give us some hope for May. Something to be excited about. Something to be like “You see!! They’re getting this pig out of the fire!!”
Expansion 2 needs to come with a solid amount of the base content (missions, adventures, lost sectors, strikes, raid lair, PvP maps, etc.) and it also [b][u]REALLY NEEDS [/u][/b]some of the bigger issues tuned up and pointed into the right direction.
So, now that March 27th is practically here, when are we going to start talking about the stuff that us as a community are dying for?? Just give us a reason to come back to Destiny, call out of work to play Destiny, watch YouTube videos on strats and gear reviews, watch streamers play PvP and wish we were that good, take another day off work to practice in PvP, etc. [b][u]GIVE US A REASON TO BE EXCITED LIKE WE DID PRE D1 EXPANSION RELEASES[/u][/b], please....

They officially unveiled Curse of Osiris on 11/16/18, 2.5 weeks ahead of the 12/5 launch. So if they follow that trend they probably wont unveil DLC2 till mid-April at the earliest, assuming an early-may debut. In the last roadmap update Chris Barrett said:[quote]Stay tuned for more information about 1.2.0 in April, as we’ll be giving more details on what to expect from Exotic Masterworks, Seasonal Crucible Rankings, Heroic Strike Modifiers, [u]and more[/u][/quote] The 'and more' could mean anything: maybe news on DLC2. The franchise is hemorrhaging players as the population drops day over day. The changes (fixes) they tell us about aren't enough on their own to build interest, and there's still a lot of animosity toward them. Like you, I think it'd be wise of them to start the marketing train for DLC2 soon.
