Keep Current Power Ammo
I just wanna go back to D1 heavy. Usually both teams got heavy. None of this one person rocking a sword or grenade launcher the whole match.
Edited by ZARDOZ: 3/10/2018 1:18:57 AMI think introducing more power ammo isn’t necessarily a bad thing. We’ll have to wait and see how it goes I suppose. The problem is it probably won’t promote greater use of shotguns, snipers etc. It will just promote more use of rocket launchers. I’m afraid crucible will just become a rocket launcher spam fest after the update. They really just need to separate heavy weapons from special weapons. There’s no other way around it. Heavy weapons will always trump special weapons in the current system. More power ammo probably won’t change this. Your suggestion of more power ammo for traditional special weapons won’t really work. People (especially less skilled players ) will always pick rocket launchers over special weapons (no matter how much ammo they get) . It’s almost guaranteed to give you a kill every time.
Swords and shotguns I would consider “true” power weapons because they can team wipe pretty easily.
In the TWAB they already said you'll be getting more reserve ammo for most heavy weapons, as well as primary/secondaries like sidearms and smgs. The only thing that isn't getting more ammo are the swords, but most swords have around 30 swings anyways, which is pretty close to D1 in terms of ammo.
I would assume if we get bricks more often wouldn't that make them feel more like Special weapons anyways?
I foresee a lot of hero moments being cut short due to the abundance of purple blocks. We don't need more 'heavy'. We need special weapons. This isn't really a fix. We need to increase weapon diversity not power diversity.
Your English is great! Better than most who speak it.
