Oh stop, they have some of the best game devs in the business, but their decision-makers are making some terrible decisions. Don't blame the entire company just because they have bad direction.

They have to figure out how that works, what the implications are and then implement code all within a pre-existing feature development schedule. It's not that they just suck and can't do it. They just want to do it in a way that doesn't cause more problems and give everyone yet another excuse to bitch about the minutia.

If it's that hard to code that. What hope does the rest of the game have? And " work out how they works". They didn't inherit this game... they made the thing. People with responses like this are why bungie thinks it's okay to set a timeline of 8 friggin months for anything substantial to happen.

In D1 when you levelled you could actually become way more powerful than the enemies. Unfortunately for D2 bungie removed this mechanic. So many players haven’t realised this yet. It’s why all the gear, perks, mods are so boring. They are going to try and give you a damage boost in the future but only in the raid and only using a solar subclass.

You know the Mythoclaust is also designed by Bungie right? They were talented back then but they aren't now?

Not "current" bungie. It was in the core D1 game, that was cut and mutilated, and even so violated it was a masterpiece. Whatever they did after is pure shite, casuals' money grab. With Activision's CEO leaving, they will have hard time "marketing" this scrap in the future.

Edited by Siniskamikaze: 1/26/2018 8:01:20 AMD2 was designed by the same people that designed TTK.. after the release of the taken king a handful of people left to continue on D1 and the others started working on D2 as Bungie announced back then.. So whatever you see is designed by the same people as D1 second year.. In D1 we screamed that we wanted ghosts with different looks and now that we have them you still complain.. after all you are comparing a gun to a ghost. Yeah vex mytho was great.. so it was touch of malice , outbreak prime etc.. the problem with D2 not having great guns is not a design issue it is a policy issue.. People at Bungie are extremelly talented design-wise and that is apparent throughout the whole game.. It's the policies decided for this game that ruined it
