Luke Smith needs to read this.

Mr. Smith, Or, Luke. Can I call you Luke? You may have noticed that people have... problems with your game. You made a sequel that tried to reinvent what Destiny was, and dragged everyone else down with it. Examples: -Easy to reach Light Cap -Made weapons that are easy to use that get fastest ttk -Lack of POWERFUL endgame loot -"Casual" raid lairs All of these in service of one purpose. To make Casuals feel like the Hardcore. But what you're doing is KILLING Destiny as a whole! You want to make Casuals stay for as long as the Hardcore do, but by definition, it's impossible! The casuals are just going to leave, no matter how much dumbed-down content you have! But even if some DO decide to become dedicated... ... There's nothing there for them. The Hardcore have been left with nothing to do, because the advantages caused by them obtaining high-level loot from difficult activities would frustrate the Casuals, who apparently are your biggest concern. Because otherwise the Endgame, would actually feel like an Endgame. The best of the best. And rewards accordingly. Some people will say, "Oh, just wait a few years, it'll get better." But that isn't how it should work! You SHOULDN'T EVER have to pay 300% of your original purchase to get something you should have had in the first place. Nothing you can say will convince me otherwise. Luke Smith, You can change this game. Just give incentive for the Hardcore, the most dedicated of the Destiny community. Don't build a game for casuals. It will take a lot of work, but this game, and Bungie's reputation as a whole, and the existence of your job anymore, are worth it. LISTEN to the community. Don't say "we hear you, we're working on it," LISTEN. And I know you're not listening, because a lot of people have probably already reached the cap for this new DLC. There are plenty of great ideas out there. We want this game to succeed. Do you?
