Problems getting your PC to work with Destiny 2?

low fps regardless of detail or resolution, 39 - 45fps, EDZ, Titan.

first off, specs: i5-2300 6gb ram AMD R9 390 Windows 10 AMD Freesync (monitor) 144Hz enabled I know my cpu is long in the tooth, but I feel like I'm having software related issues (ie, not a hardware limitation). How cpu bound is the game? I was getting over 80fps in the intro mission (fighting against the invasion of the space gerbils), however, upon my arrival in the online portion of the game, the framerate literally tanked. I get around 45 fps in most places in the EDZ and on Titan. Haven't made it anywhere else yet. I get jumps to 100 fps indoors, but that's about it. The entry spawn point on Titan, just staring at the main building, I'm at 40-45fps. I feel like there is something wrong. I've tried everything at this point, wondering if its just my cpu. I don't want speculative posts though like "yeah, its probably your cpu". I want someone from Bungie to confirm whether or not an i5-2300 with an R9 390 should be getting 45fps standing still looking at a building. Would also like to mention I feel its cpu bound because the fps doesn't change when I knock everything to low, set AA and AO off, and knock it down to 720p. It still gets 40-45 fps in these areas, and not much more elsewhere. I usually run most games close to maxed out with this setup and get 1080p over 60.
