Both atomic bombs killed hundreds of thousands in Japan. And they didn’t end the war, it ended the Pacific Theatre.

I could be misremembering my dates, but I'm pretty sure that Germany had already been defeated/surrendered, which would have only left the war in the Pacific, so as the last front of World War II, Japan's surrender [i]would[/i] actually be the end of WWII.

No. The end of the Pacific Theatre lead to the end of WWII because the US could finally focus all of its Tripp’s in Europe instead of defending the country from Japan. Pretty sure that’s how it was.

Well if we defeated Japan without the atomic bombs the lifeless would’ve been less and the war would’ve ended. It mostly ended because we could finally focus our forces in europe
