Advice for those who just finished the main story and landed at the new tower?
Regarding factions for the most part. There's some rumor this user read here awhile ago that everyone (at least Titans) should go D O? Since replacing the Intellect, Discipline, and Strength factors with....nothing (mods and the usual mobility, recovery, and resilience), is there much of a reason, storyline or eldergame-wise for choosing, leveling, and buying stuff from factions besides the usual min/maxing of gear-sets for different occasions (which this user didn't really feel the need to swap a lot for different sub-classes or gear-sets and just "roflstomped" everything? What are rallies, where are they and why should people do them?

If you choose to continue playing this mess, like I am, level up with blue gear till you hit that level cap. Then do your milestones for the luminous engrams. Advance your base level cap. Rinse/repeat weekly. Frankly, since the first dlc is bringing new caps of 25/335, you could just wait for the higher level gear. Hope that helps. Btw..I went DO as a faction, not that it matters.

There’s a video on YouTube that shows you how to level up by maxing out your glimmer and using legendary shards to rank up with the gunsmith in order to collect legendary mods.
