Almost lunch time 9/06... literally pushing a week since the #783 Android build installed. Problems getting the new build into the Play Store? Already cleared app caches, as well as rebooted to maintenance mode to clear cache partition. Not detecting an update for Destiny app... several other things patched, but not Destiny.

Try getting latest now.
Try getting latest now.
Android build 803 is linking notifications to the posts now, but is still behaving a bit weird. The options to view entire thread or collapse/expand trees aren't always showing up now like they used to, so don't always get to see the proper flow/context of the threads... sometimes the replies show up out of place. In the past, you could click to view the entire thread and/or collapse/expand the subthreads to get it all back in order again. Now those actions seem to not be showing up consistently. Perhaps an issue with how many layers deep the trees are going?

Come on already, why is this still jacked up? When is this next build, next year?
-
9/5 -- feels like a year away to all of us I imagine
-
9/5 -- feels like a year away to all of us I imagine
It's gonna feel even longer than a year when I am standing in line for 2 hours before the release at GameStop. Lol.
-
Byf...? is that you?
-
Lol, no I'm not, sorry dude.
-
Nice I waited 6 hours at a Walmart for halo 1 and the Xbox lol.
-
Edited by my__name_is__: 9/6/2017 5:25:24 PMI have a lot of for love games, but not enough to wait 6 hours. I have a lot of respect for you now lol.
-
ok...9/5, don't let us down Stosh!!! We are counting on you!!
-
Androids still can't click notifications and be taken to the original post
-
@stosh With the update (maintenance) that happened on the 31st, it seems like we are no longer able to scroll past a set number (~ 10) of notifications on the web.
-
Yes I have that problem as well. I am only thankful though that I am now getting notifications lol
-
I was happy to start getting notifications again, but not being able to scroll sort of makes it useless.
-
Still waiting on that fix bud

Key words "next build"
-
I'm not going to lie. I assumed that the app was down for hours yesterday to push the next build. I'm sure I'm not alone.
-
I think that's when they fixed the push notifications being slow. They've been much better recently.
-
Good point. Yours was like 2 minutes. They were like 4 hours.
-
I got two updates on Wednesday.... two builds back to back in a matter of hours. Time for another build with this fix to come out.
-
Probably because they caught something quickly.
-
Probably because they caught something quickly.
But we are halfway through the third day since it was posted that a fix is in for the problem... for an Android app. This isn't Apple, but ANDROID. Apps shoot through Google pretty quickly--unless they find something wrong with the app and they kick it back. The silence on the issue, as usual, can be quite maddening.
-
Could be a complicated issue. I've seen worse. If it were truly just that some dumbass forgot to connect whatever Android's version of IBActions are it would have been fixed by now.
