So Destiny 2 is coming round the corner, and from what I've been able to gather, subclasses are going to change in a big way. From the look of it, the Cabal somehow manage to limit the Traveller, restricting our light. Subclasses are an integral part of Destiny, so they can't get rid of them completely. But how might they justify new subclasses when the Traveller is dampened? Well, what if we learned from our enemies? Eris could help us learn Hive secrets on the moon, and maybe we could get some help from Toland. From what I understand, we are already kind of in the Hive hierarchy after killing Oryx. Maybe we could use that? (As a side tangent, we could also fight the Cult of Yor on the moon. That'd be SICK) Cayde has always apparently had an obsession with the Vault of Glass, so I could see him going there to snoop. If he ends up staying in the city, then maybe the Stranger helps us through. The Vex could let us have a time-based subclass, which would be incredibly interesting (maybe the Warlock subclass could be 'Timelord') As for the Fallen, we know that Uldren is with the House of Kings now. If he could broker an arrangement between us and the Fallen regarding taking back the Traveller, maybe their Kell could teach us the ways of the Fallen warrior- with a bit of signature Guardian flair added in.
