I thought I saw that only about 30% of players have completed the raids. It's sad that so many people would skip, in my opinion, the best content in the game. But to each their own.

That percentage is based off of total unique logins to destiny, not active players. The number is still probably around 60-70% though ( pulling that out of my ass(.

This may seem weird, but most gamers from my generation don't see video games as a social interaction. We go see our friends socially, and play games in our alone time. At a certain point in your life you start to treasure your alone time. That's not to say I don't like playing with other people, but it's really awkward trying to converse with people under 40 who work indoors or (God forbid) are in school when I am 45 and am an Ironworker foreman. The one guy I used to play consistently with is in the oilfield..we could talk casually and play. The last time I joined a random group I made a Princess Bride reference and was greeted by complete silence.

Edited by GamerCone: 4/7/2017 6:10:28 PMTotally understand. I play music and am involved in some other community activities that fulfill my social life, but I just really enjoy coordinated activities and the raids offer that unique experience on a videogame. I'm 30 and an office manager so I don't work outside but I've been in groups where I'm obviously 10+ years older than everyone and it can be awkward from time to time, but I've also met some other 30 and overs that I really had great experiences with and we play with each other when we can cause it's nice to be in a group with people who are actually your peer. We're out here! "Don't mess with a Sicilian when death is on the line!" Im old enough to remember that gem. 😅

Well, someone said "I'm really sick of these snipers,I mean it!" I of course said "Anybody want a peanut?"

"May you dream of large women."

Hahaha. So good.

Also...little known fact... Buttercup grew up to be Jenny from Forrest Gump. "There are very few perfect breasts in the world,it would be a shame to ruin those."
-
Yea, she was a good lookin' lady. Are you a Robin Hood: Men in Tights fan at all? 😅
-
That one I haven't seen. I know Wesley was in it. I always liked the way Buttercup said "Oh,Wesley!"... Because that's my name.

Edited by GamerCone: 4/7/2017 6:52:46 PMThere are so many great one-liners in Robin Hood: MIT, one of my favorites is when Prince John goes to talk to a soothsayer to try and learn the future she mentions that she changed her name to "Latrine" in their introduction. Latrine: ...I changed my name to Latrine. Prince John: You changed your name TO Latrine? Latrine: Yea, used to be Shit House. 😅 so many great exchanges like that.

Edited by GamerCone: 4/7/2017 6:47:02 PMAh nice. Yea Kerry Eloise was Robin Hood in the movie. Its a Mel Brooks film so it's very very goofy, but in a very similar vein as Princess Bride. Check it out if you get a chance you may like it.

Speaking of,it looks from the screen clips as if that animal trying to kill a guardian in D2 might be a ROUS (Rodent of unusual size).
