The Buffalo Wolf

Canis lupus nubilus (Great plains wolves): Great plains wolves once occupied most of the Western United States, southeastern Alaska, and central and northeastern Canada. It had the largest range of any subspecies in North America. It is also known as the buffalo wolf. It was thought to be extinct by 1926, but studies indicate that the wolves in Minnesota, Wisconsin and upper Michigan are descendants of this subspecies. The Buffalo Wolf is one of my favorite subspecies of Gray wolf, and It is a life long dream of mine that one day we can reintroduce the Great Plains Wolf back to its natural habitat... I know we still have a long way to go before PR gets good enough for that to happen, but I hope that one day we as humanity will learn to coexist with our environment and the other species that inhabit it. Anyway... What is B.net's favorite subspecies of wolf, and what do you think about the possibility of a future where wolves have been reintroduced across the US?
