Fireteam Connection Issues on Same Network

Seems like a lot of people are having this issue, and sometimes we've managed to connect but the majority of the time my boyfriend and I can't join a fireteam together. We're on XBox One and have tried the following steps: - Changed the names of our consoles, logged off and back on the internet and then launched destiny (worked twice on two separate occasion, but not twice in one day) - Tried joining a fireteam from the Tower (this has never worked) - We made sure we have uPnP enabled on our router, we usually have a stable connection so we know its not our internet. - Tried one of us launch Destiny and invite the other from the Xbox home page (no success here either) We are getting frustrated, it means we have to tag in and out of playing with our Clan. Has anyone got any other suggestions of temp fixes to try out?

  • I had the same issues. I have both a ps4 and pro so that my daughter and I can play. I solved it by adding a second router on my network. I connect with the ps4 to the main router (subnet 192.168.1.1) and my ps4 pro on the additional router (subnet 192.168.10.1). If both machines are on the same router we cannot connect. But once I added the second router it works. We do get booted every once in a while with codes: baboon and weasel. But we at least get to play a bit. It might not be the most ideal solution, but it works for us.
