So yet again I came up with another idea on how to prolong the fun one can have in destiny.
I thought about raids and how they are too easy once you've reached the required light level. So I came up with ammo restrictions but in a raid where the single encounteres are defined by basically throwing your ammo at an enemy so that wouldn't work so I thought about a way to make it work.
I came with the idea of a game mode in which you simply fight through a random generated dungeon with a theme in which as usual doors have to be unlocked through Keys like with the hive or through your ghost or fight a mini-boss.
This can be made harder through applying a modifier that prevents guardian from getting any ammo and a mod that makes the weapons more effective against enemies.
Now that sounds likes opposites but when you think about it, it makes sense. In a fireteam you can plan things and coordinate who shoots what so Noone wastes too much ammo shooting a corpse for too long. And while the weapons are more effective it's easy to run out of ammo pretty quickly.
Now you'll be asking yourself how this could be an endless mode if you basically die once ammo runs out. Well the intention of the mini boss is to ,upon defeat , spawn a chest much like the raid bosses which contain ammo to a certain extent.
So with every stage of this dungeon the level of the enemies increase and it becomes harder to kill them without being precise but the loot gets better too so the player has an insensitive to get better as the mode gets harder.
