Locked Emblems because I accidentally made a new account.

I get that bungie has no way of recovering accounts, especially in my current situation where I accidentally made a new one, and replaced my old one that was almost 6 years old, I'm pretty ok with that now despite it being a really shitty thing, it doesn't bother me as much anymore. What I don't get is why bungie decided that it was a good idea to attach emblems to accounts rather than your Gamertag/PSN ID, because now that I've lost my old account, I no longer have access to the emblems I purchased(from the bungie store). Those emblems are: Dawn of Destiny 7-7 AD Infinitum Ressurectionist And most recently, Eye of Eternity. This bugs the HELL out of me, like. It's stupid beyond words, I paid money to get these(yes I know it sounds silly but I have money to spend so I don't care) I tried contacting bungie through their help account on twitter and I've received no response from them. It's so frustrating.. if anyone has a solution, I would greatly appreciate any help.

    Unfortunately, if you orphaned the account that was attached to these emblems, there is no way to recover both the account and emblems. The only way to receive these emblems on your new account would be to have new emblem codes to redeem on your new Bungie.net profile. I deeply apologize for the inconvenience.
