You sound like people that believe in religion are inferior to you. Its a belief, just like my opinion is that blue is the best color. Doesnt make it right, but its still my opinion.
-
I didn't say inferior but they are sure lost to a certain extent. It bothers me that a reasonable person can submit to a totalitarian god and attempt to spread such an intellectual disease to others and act righteous about it.
-
Same could be said of a person who doesnt believe in a god.

Edited by Seanonix: 9/11/2016 5:54:31 PMNonbelievers submit to a totalitarian god and attempt to spread intellectual disease? You can't use the normal "it's a belief stop" or "same thing for non believers" counters here, my points are beyond normal discussion
-
So you're right no matter what?
-
You're trying to discredit me without debating. You right no matter what?? Hah Fool!! I win!! Of course I am right in my mind, I wouldn't say things I didn't think were right. I'm arguing that religion is fundamentally evil. Thus it doesn't matter that it's a belief and people have a right to it, as I am not even arguing against that.
-
You think it's evil. It just depends on the person that determines whether it's good or evil. Most people use religion as a means of making themselves look good while having bad morals. But some people actually mean well while telling people about their religion. Obviously we all have our own opinions, and i think each individual should make their own choice instead of just following blindly.

Edited by Seanonix: 9/12/2016 12:03:49 AMYe of course I'm not saying otherwise...I think it's evil after I look at the base principles of religion, I feel it's largely unnecessary or even detrimental in today's world. But even if people do good things in the name of religion or inspired by it the base nature or requirements of most religions strike me as something no one would be fond of (obedience to an totalitarian figure based on fear and punishment)
-
(As an atheist) atheists are absolutely not superior or inferior to any other person. religious or otherwise everyone has a right to their beliefs, just as Christians believe in God.
