The Collection upgrade - Can we get a STRAIGHT answer?
After spending an hour on the phone with Xbox & Microsoft I feel we are entitled to an answer regarding the DISCOUNTED upgrade bundle for returning or upgrading customers.
I feel its deliberately set up so the 60 dollar purchase is easy as pie to set up but returning customers are given a blatant run around. The purchase has still not been verified and still not able to be downloaded after weeks of many people trying and failing to do so.
Please let us know something. The advertising never mentioned waiting till the 19 September to be able to upgrade and play taken King/dlc 1 & 2.

I chatted with Microsoft for over an hour and finally asked can I re buy taken king on my 360 and get a refund? cuz my 360 shows I didn't buy it but I really did, it was just not the current bundle with expansions 1 and 2.... This unlocked the 39.99 collection upgrade! So happpppppy! My thought was destiny isn't seeing I qualify for the upgrade.... I was right! Hope this makes sense and helps others

Please post an update for this - you are keeping practically everyone in the dark and also providing multiple different versions of requirements and needed things - This is on the Microsoft website and the agents at Xbox or Microsoft have 0 clue. 3 RepliesMy opinion is that there wasn't any communication to begin with until we started posting forum updates. Because they saw it as a 'store' problem, the mentors just kept telling us to talk to Microsoft. And Microsoft didn't fully understand how the upgrade worked, and that's why they kept giving us mixed responses. They didn't see it as a glitch, they just saw it as any other problem a purchase could have with any other game. Well, at least now they're working on a fix for fit. Hope this means I don't need to spend $90 (Aus)

RoI will come, you won't have been able to pre order it, and Bungie will do nothing to help because the promotion will have already passed, and to most unaffected by the issue, it will not matter in the slightest. Bungie will not have a reason to help after RoI is released and the issue will fade into obscurity.

2 RepliesI've been told by microsoft they are working on an "update" to fix the issue. Thats believable but I dont understand why theres no response from bungie on this issue and why its been 2+ weeks since its been unavailable (at least to certain people).

Purchasing this bundle grants digital licenses for all previous Destiny content and includes Rise of Iron, which will be available for gameplay on September 20th, 2016. The discounted price is 40 from my memory. I don't know if that helps at all.

2 RepliesThe people who own the taken King for the Xbox one can get it now because they messed up and put it to where you needed to have the taken King for the Xbox one instead of having it on Xbox 360 in order to get the upgrade They messed up and hopefully when they fix this the 360 players that are trying to upgrade can get it at an even cheaper price because all the Xbox one people that own the taken King can get the upgrade right now for the discounted price
